I never played Morrowind but that is seemingly how it is done. Though I have worked on watching enemy timing to use my shield to help deflect some damage. Some enemies give a nasty stun/knockback if you get hit without a shield up.

And the fish quest kinda sucked to do but I got a ring that lets you breathe underwater...but since my race already can and it's worth over 2k I will sell <.<

And breaking into vendors and stealing all of their crap is so fulfilling.

Yea, but that's all I ended up doing in Morrowind, running around stealing stuff, exploring some landscape, fighting a guard for fun, and maybe taking forever to figure out who to talk to in some distant area to complete a quest.

That was about it. It leaves you like, ok...now what? This shit is sorta repetetive. I'm finding the same feeling in world of warcraft. It's very fun, you do anything you want (quest, grind, craft, etc.) solo -- but it's really really repetetive. Talk to one person, go find a monster and kill it, go back and talk to the person. Bring an item to another npc far away. Repeat.

Fuck, I'm ready for Fable 2 and FF12 already.




I dont wanna ruin it for anyone, but the easiest way to level up in this game is to duct tape down a button (like jump, or the foward button to run/swim/sneak, etc.) and go to work/school for 5 hours. Come home, the skill is maxed and you level up a bunch.

I picked Oblivion up today and am really enjoying it. I haven't gotten too far into it, been taking huge detours, but what I have done has been great. I murdered some guy 'cause he got pissed when I laughed in his face when he asked me for help with fishing (blame FFXI devs) then when I fell to sleep some shadowey guy offered me a mission. I took it, killed some old guy and now I have to find somewhere obscure to sleep again! It's just so overwhelming how much there is to do.

You get the underwater breathing ring of sex by doing the 'Go Fish' quest. It is in the tiny village on the other end of the bridge outside the imperial city. NPC is in the house on the left as you go in.

Oh, the leveling system is quite stupifying I agree. I only ever get +2 modifiers when I level up. Oh well.

I rode by a Unicorn while on a horse to the Ill Will Inn or something for the Dark Brotherhood initiation quest, are they rare or what do they drop that's valuable? There were also some Bull type monsters near the Unicorn but they seemed to be allies because they did not fight.

It was kewl though, as I ran by on my horse out of the stables (it was stolen /grin, but I never get caught) a wolf aggroed me and followed me, and kept up, all the way to the woods outside the inn. The Unicorn saw the wolf and raped it for me, it was kewl. I like how mobs will like fight eachother in this game, I think that is one of the kewlest things. The Unicorn is my hero, I don't know if I can bring myself to kill it unless it drops some sexy Alchemy item or something.

How did you attack them without immediately getting kicked out of the guild and having to fight the Wrath of Sithis?

Did you attack the Vampire in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary to contract the disease, if so did you make sure you had it?

Did you attack the Vampire in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary to contract the disease, if so did you make sure you had it?

If you are looking for how to become a vampire.. I got it from a part of the main quest where you have to "cleanse" a mine filled with vampires by killing them.

I don't know, the orc came after me first after i accidently jabbed em' with my dagger, then another linked as I was running out.

And no. The vampire in the DBS offers to bite you once you've proven yourself, or something along those lines.

He told me to go to sleep and he would visit me in the night, I did and the quest was added to my log the next day. It said to wait three days then go to sleep and I would become a vampire. So far is didnt happen ;;

Did you wait 3 days and go to sleep twice then go outside? Chances are you are a vampire and just don't know it?

If its your video card that is the problem, check this out

My video card is unsupported, but the rest of my PC meets the requirements, with some tweaking i got it to work ^^. The graphics are a noticably less pretty than with a supported card, but it works for me.

Yeah I've waited three days and slept, is there anyway to tell if you are a vampire?

Check the Magic Status screen and your Character Information screens, maybe it will be listed there. Also try sleeping for 4 days and if you have some new abilities in your ability/magic menus you are a vampire. They get abilities and such everyday that they don't feed on someone's blood or something like that.

I just turned into a vampire last night, I fast traveled around(after i got the disease) until 3 days passed then slept for an hour and got a message that I had a nightmare about a vampire biting someone, then I recognized the face and it was me, and woke up screaming. Then it said I got all these abilities. Vampirism was listed under current status effects.

If you haven't experienced that, then you're probably not a vampire yet.

Oh God I can't stop playing this game. I'm currently going through all the brotherhood missions but you get side tracked within a side track you're already side tracked from... it's rediculous how much there is to do in this lol.
