Really don't feel like putting effort into this discussion. It's a personal choice when it comes to things like this or it's medically necessary like RustyMetal said.
My point which you seem to have missed and blew out of the proportion is this. While alcohol is legal, alcoholism is a problem. Those who drink will drink, those who don't want to, won't. Be it illegal or illegal. I hope that put it in perspective for you, Shaede.
Legality of any substance only changes the financial aspect of it's presence.
[quote=Erebus]People have directly DIED from playing videogames too long. And adding to the fact that your last post makes no fucking sense, I'll be ignoring you now. :D[/quote:d1b8d]Originally Posted by SephirothYuyX

Try smoking weed for 36 hours straight and tell me if you live to tell the tale.

That's cool. That's why I love the world. Different views make it all more interesting.
Did you know there's never been a case in history, ever, where someone has died due to an overdose of marijuana?Originally Posted by NynJa
If he did, he wouldn't post something like that.
36 hrs without sleep, food or water ??Originally Posted by Hirronimus

And someone dying because they went 36 hours with food drink or sleep is a video game death ??Originally Posted by Gumu
The guy who was playing video games for that long and died probably just had a horribly unhealth lifestyle. I mean, it wasn't the videogames that killed him, and it's the same way with staying up for 36 hours smoking weed. It's not the weed that'll kill you, you're probably really unhealthy to begin with if you make stupid decisions like that.Originally Posted by NynJa
What does this have to do with drugs being legalized?
Seriously are there any intelligent anti-drug people on this forum at all? You guys are all huge ignorant douches
YOU ARE A MORON, NYNJA... btw it's spelled N-I-N-J-A
What cause him not to eat, sleep or drink? Oh yeah that's right the videogame. Weed does the exact opposite of that.![]()
When I was younger I went almost 40 hours high many times, I'm not trying to brag but if you knew anything about it, you would know that isn't even something worth bragging about.
People don't smoke weed nonstop to get high. You smoke some good shit it lasts for a couple hours then you blaze up again if you are in the mood.
If you abuse ANY substance for 36 hours it will fuck you up, maybe even kill you. I don't know if that can be said about weed, because I never heard of anyone smoking it nonstop like that.
But I imagine the same could be said about many things that people are supposed to use in moderation, so I don't know how that makes weed look any worse then Tylenol in that context.

I'm not against legalizing it but that's not a very good argument for either side. There have been many deaths related directly to, but not actually caused by, smoking pot. What cause him not to eat, sleep or drink? Oh yeah that's right the videogame.
Its health affects shouldn't even be considered really. It's more of a personal rights and freedoms thing. I'm allowed to do anything to my body BUT consume drugs? Does that make sense to anyone?
That's exactly the point I'm trying to make.Originally Posted by Amarok

The difference is that weed is illegal while things that are worse are legal.![]()
Ok, I'll toss down a real reason:
I, and I'm sure every non-smoker, doesn't want to walk down the street smelling weed everywhere I go. It has a very strong odor, much stronger than those of cigarettes.
Enjoying the scent of smog, I take it?
