I have the PC version and never use that windower. I have no problem logging out of the game when I want to look something up. I think its kind of like cheating and it also helps people use bots like mr argus and others. If it was ever broken and people quit I wouldn't care cuase it would mean lot less cheating in this game which would be good.

Yah, changing the channel on PS2 while waiting for that 10mins airship isnt cheating, while looking at a website while in the same scenario on a windowed PC is cheating. Ok!!!!!

If you look at the Stanislav topic he tells people to download windower cause the voke bots require it. I don't see how this isn't cheating. If there was no windower people like him couldn't cheat.

Also changing the channel on PS2 and using another PC isn't cheating cause it doesn't alter the game. I find myself using my other PC sometimes cause I didn't want to log out. But its not altering the FFXI game like that windower does.

Me and my friend got this last night actually. It was from a guy named Jerle. I'm pretty sure I'm not on his Friend List, though, cuz I've never heard of the guy before. He sent us a link to Mr_Argus.zip, which we were both sure was a keylogger or some sort of virus.

Yes, that is not the real jerle. The old jerle used to be in my LS and He got hacked and since he lives in SG, It was near impossible to get he account back due to SE and their gayness. The hacker changed the credit card information etc.

Although it's true that there are botters rampant in endgame, i think that 95% of the people that use Windower use it totally for it's intended purpose of windowing and fuckin sexy macros

If you dont type anything, then you cant get 'hacked', if someone got your pass, then it isnt a keylogger. You need to type something for a keylogger to work, anything else would be a trojan.

Well, i'll admit that it was curiousity that got the best of me. I was real tired that day when a LS mate told me that he got that link in a tell. I went to it to see if it actually download something. Sure enough there was a zip. I opened the zip but not the .exe in side it so there's something on the zip.

My account wasnt hacked until the next day, called SE and they said cause my CC didnt match what was currently on the account, they couldnt do anything.

Gonna call them again with my bank statements in hand.
