There was a peaceful protest outside of the auditorium where she was speaking and that was all fun and nice but inside was where it got interesting. When she started speaking, there were a number of students who preemptively planned to stand up and turn their backs to her. They did this and her comment was "Look at their fat asses."

She began her speech with gay-bashing and then went on to her normal "hey look my brain has been infected by lead" blabber about how liberalism is the most horrible thing in the world. There were students on the upper level yelling over her with profane comments and fake orgasms the whole time constantly interrupting her. The College Republicans were all sitting in the few rows in front of her, and she said to them "Be the heterosexual, white republicans you are and go put a stop to that."

Anyhow, after 35 minutes she walked off the stage because she couldn't take it anymore. It has been pretty interesting news on our campus; but the incident has divided the student body

Wow that's crazy. I've seen her appearances on Real Time and I just sorta want to vomit when I hear the shit spew from her mouth. Albany is a very liberal city, so I'd probably never see her here but if she ever came somewhere local I'd go to just see what happens. Politics is something my school cares little about, being only a pharmacy school. While I enjoy a good debate people around here are too entrenched in their ochem books and the bar.
