Do you think someone should be killed (executed) or punished for saying/doing something that they think is right? I hear terrorists kill people (inferior beings) in order to please the God that they believe in. If a child was raised in an environment full of people that believed in this and adopted this as "the right thing to do", how is he supposed to know that the majority of the world does not belive in this and think that it's irrational? This is just an example..the same idea might be said for a child being raised in an environment full of harmful, illegal drugs and has adopted that using these is "the right thing to do". I don't know..it just seems like a big loop to me, like it will never end.

Am i missing something or are they going to try to say that because Moussaoui said that he was going to crash a plane into the White House, people died therefore proving that he should be executed? I don't think someone's upbringing, or what they are taught should entirely give them immunity from prosecution for such acts. Ehh I don't have enough time to reply to this the way I want to, so I'll just see where this topic goes.

He also testified that he misled authorities when he was arrested a few weeks before 9/11 in an attempt to get them to ease off of the idea that there was a planned terrorist action. Wouldn't take a genius to argue how he cost lives by doing this.

You can argue morals until you're blue in the face (like the pot thread lol); this is a matter for the legal system. He knew killing people was illegal here. He did it anyway. I'm sure he's satisfied with his choice of his personal values over the legalities of the US, or he wouldn't have pled guilty.
