I just never found myself using it, ever. I think final form is probably the most overpowered ability in this game, along with some of the limits you can do. (eternal session)

God damn, this game has one of the best stories I've ever played in a rpg series. Probably my favorite, I even went outa the way to play+beat chain of memories just to see how it ties in.

So~ just finished this. Went through and at level 61, without doing most of the synth stuff, sephiroth, or any of the second tier cups in the colloseum, beat the game. 96% Journal completion. Ok, so went back and collected every synth item, leveled up Drive forms and Summon forms to 7, which took me all the way to level 97. Got the extra 2 levels, beat sephiroth on my first try in about 5 minutes(was a joke), spent the next 2 or 3 days and finally beat the colloseum all the way through....only to get the same goddamn ending. I don't know what I did, but for some reason I unlocked the secret ending before I spent half a week crunching for 100% journal. Anyone able to shed any light on this?(I did get the secret ending at 96%)

Not sure how you did that, on Proud mode you need to get 100% completion of all worlds (which means no skipping worlds, need the keylock sign) and on Normal mode you need 100% journal completion (you can't get in on Easy). What mode did you finish it on, also did you *Really* get the secret ending

-Spoilers but not really since it doesn't tie in with the main game at all-

The ending with those 3 knights and the graveyard of keyblades? I assume you knew this but I have to ask anyway. Only thing I can think of is different files for different modes, a glitch or error (which seems unlikely) or you're lying/confused about what happened.

    =\

Oh, didn't realize the requirements were different based on difficulty. Well then, there should have been a super secret ending for beating it 100% on proud mode, cause i don't bother playing games on sissy-difficulty. Thanks for clarifying though.

I agree, although Proud mode isn't all that hard, It's still atleast fun, I wish the Collusium had better music too, and maybe a boss fight option, some of the bosses were fucking amazing...

After winning a cup you can select which match in the series to fight.

I know that. What I meant was a mode to fight all the bosses, like some of the org XIII and some of the cooler heartless (pridelands 2 comes to mind)

I don't have all my drive forms leveled, and I can't beat Sephiroth...driving me crazy. Level 99 with Ultimate Weapon though. But I guess having Drives are really important?

That Pride Land trick was so much fun...

Seppy is so easy. Trinity limit. If you're fast you can get off 3 times in one limit. use an elixir and repeat. Every trinity should take off like 3-4 lifebars(it's been a while so I forgot). I'm not even sure if I got hit during the battle.

*NOTE* This method is really cheap, and I still get owned with my n00b skillz if I try to beat him without using trinity.

If you want to beat him the real way (which isn't hard, Trinity Method sucks) a few things you need...

    once more
    leaf bracer
    combo+'s
Finishers (mainly pierce, explosion and the aerial one)
    aerial recovery
    lvl 3 high jump
    lvl 3 aerial dodge
    at least lvl 1 glide
anything else you want, you can use berserk here, but it might fuck you over at the final stages

only spell you need is reflega, if you need to heal use a hi-potion or if you're really in need curaga then use an ether/elixer

First stage is easy, reaction command asap and beat him down till he teles, afterwards watch what he does, he walks towards you slowly he'll either do a reaction command, some slashes (jump in the air when he does and hold square to glide on that spot then after he's done beat him up)

sometimes he'll tele next to you and slash you in the air (next to no damage done) if he does this then aerial recover asap and attack him. Keep doing this till he says something ("know your place" I think) and he'll start using these dark ball things, reflega them away (you might have to move towards them) and carry on doing the same thing as before, if he uses decend heartless angel, jump, aerial dodge and glide toward him and beat the shit outta him, if he uses fire pillars just run away or use this oppertunity to use a hi-pot.

When he's got 4 bars or so left he'll be in his final stage and use dark balls more often (reflega them away) and dash towards you quickly and do a single slash and sometimes follow up with a combo one (I think if he hits you), keep doing the same thing until he does meteor, to avoid this, double jump left before the first hits then double jump right (or right then left depending on when you are when it starts)

after a couple times you'll get it down and beat him easily, I beat him my first time then got owned when I tried again for a while, the main key to winning is using reflega to reflect the balls away.

Ohhh, thanks! I didn't use reflegagagaga at all...but he also always used this bullshit slash move that took all my HP. Literally, full health to that sliver you get from Once More or whatever. I always look for a reaction command when he does it, but never see one. wtf?

Are you talking about that move where he knocks you in the air, slashes you a couple times, warps and does it again? I can't remember what ability it is, but if you mash square you can dodge+counterattack it, and just melee him that way.

    I tried once at 68, got him to half health, then tried again at 99 and smoked him. I didnt use anything other than melee style beating him down. Trinity and reflega sound like ways to make it even easier. I'm pretty sure I had beserk and that combo chain ability equipped. I was actually kinda disappointed with how easily I destroyed him the second time I tried him ; ;

good luck, just work on your timing and youll crush him =D

I am currently level 73 and fighting Sephiroth the "real" way I guess. I got him to 4 life bars and then he raped me in that new mode. I did not have a chance to try a second time since it was time for work
My question is what is this almighty Trinity Limit move you guys are talking about? I thought that was the limit you do with Donald and Goofy and obviously you can't do that in the Seph fight.
Can someone please enlighten me as to what that move is? Thank you.

it's the same one, but sora can use it solo and all he can do is "Break" 3 times in a row until you run outta limit points, just use trinity limit alone and you'll see.

that's just a normal ground combo, the reaction attack is where he draws his sword back and says "that's enough" and does this samurai silver flash thing that if hits you you see all this colourful circle slashes (he does it at the start of the fight and it's the only reaction command in that battle)

So I would go down to the Limit option at the bottom on the other side where drive would be? And I can do a limit by myself? I am level 73 and never knew this...

lol belle cant kill sephiroth lol

think she means his move that reduces mana to 0 and hp to 1 if you have the ability, just like the one he used in kh1

you can either use a healing item, or interrupt it if you react fast enough with a midair combo

    cant wait til kh3

oh yea and magnega also works on him, that cracked me up

Yeah >.> Seph is a joke, you could probably kill him with Reflega alone, anyway, Descend Heartless Angel is easy to interupt, no reason why you should ever get hit with it, it's pretty much a free combo.
