I got it today, love the intro... Utada has such an amazing voice... I am so glad they got her to sing "Sanctuary" for KH2 (Known as Passion in Japan) since she did so good with "Simple and Clean" on KH1 (Forget what it is called in Japan...).
But yea, awsome game, been playing it for a few hours sofar, lol, fun fun fun!!! :D

Starting to get into it a little bit only an hour or so and so far its brought back memorys of why i enjoyed the 1st one so much.

Although it's short as hell, and has little to no replay value to me (pure button masher), it crunches a lot of story in with a good amount of action sequences.

I skipped the Pride Lands completely, and my total playtime rings in at ~19 hours at the end of the game.

Good story, good game. Rental though.

Mona Suvari is the wannabe-VA that voiced Aerith. Hopefully no one hires her ever again.

Hope KH3 comes out sometime in the next three years. Ugh. Give me one of these games, once a year, and make the storyline still as unique. I will buy them. All of them. >.>;

It's gonna be a rental only if you rush through it >.> The first KH doesn't take much longer to finish unless you do the extra stuff, granted though this one is shorter then the first.

The story is pretty damn good. But yeah, as stated above, all you have to do is mash buttons. Yet to die on proud mode and im on pirates of the carribien w/e zone.

This game makes me miss all the old disney movies, specially when they went to the past.. :Q..

I hated the Pirates of the Caribbean world. I love all the others, especially the one in monochrome. I'm about 22 hours in it, but I'm not rushing through like some. I've made a nifty and powerful gummy ship. Too bad Krylanna has it now. I feel like making the best gummi ship ever. I don't know why I love that little mini-game so much.

Ok maybe someone here knows. When I started playing I played on the normal mode. But I haven't died once. Then I started thinking "I wonder if you get a better ending on hard". I don't want ot have to beat it on normal only to have to play through it all over again on hard to get a different ending, but at the same time if there is no difference, I might as well continue on normal since I'm already far into it. If anyone knows if there's a difference on the endings please let me know. XD

Ending wise, only difference is how hard it is to get the secret ending, on normal you have to complete Jiminy's journal or something and on hard you just have to finish the game (or something else that I missed that isn't as time consuming as normal).

Either way you can get the secret ending on both difficulties and the ending isn't different.

Completing Jiminy's Journal isn't that much of a pain in the ass, either. The only longer part is finding all of the rare Heartless, unless you detest doing the mini-games and such.

Secret Ending
Just like Kingdom Hearts I and Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts II has a special secret movie that can be viewed at the end of the game, after the credits roll.

In "Beginner" mode, you can't unlock it at all.

In "Standard" mode, you must fully compelte all the worlds and Jiminy's Journal to unlock it.

In "Proud" mode, you need only fully complete all worlds.

so far i did all of jiminy's journal. I am on standard I am going to try Proud next.

I got to the last boss at around 35 hours then I did the additional stuff for 10 or so.

This game is ok, but it's no where close to best game ever like someone said. There's so many flaws. Button-mashing, simple, cliché dialog. What kept me going was the story (except for Sora and Goofy's annoying statements all the time).

<3 Valkyrie profile. I hold onto my copy with a shot gun in the other hand lol. But I guess they're redoing it for the psp or gba (some handheld, I forgot), to get ready for the sequel. I can't wait. ^^

Just basically porting VP to the PSP, and making VP2 (silmeria or w/e) on PS2. The graphics look amazing, better than FFXII from screenshots.
