your 7 yr old sister/cousin/whatever would NOT understand the story, it's pretty dark for a game with disney in it, in KH1 the beginning is surprisingly sinister and dark. It's a great game I think suited to older players who remember watching oldskool disney movies, I remember doing the atlantica part in KH2 and just felt the biggest urge to watch the little mermaid for some reason.

The story for people over 12-13 years old isn't that complicated but the characters and story are great, the gameplay never seems to get boring and the atmosphere is golden. It's one of my favourite games of all time, even topping FFVII...

After reading all 10 pages of this thread, I've been convinced to buy both KH1 and KH2... looking forward to about a ~week of entertainment.

I hope KH1's storyline is understandable seeing as I've never played a FF game other than XI. After watching Advent Children, I'm semi-aware of some of the character's backgrounds and whatnot... other than that, I'm way out in left field.

A quick question tho: I don't know if it's just me, but is the incorporation of Disney characters a little ... odd? Maybe it won't seem like that at all, but when I think of Mulan and Hercules in a game I'll be playing, I think of it being more suited for my 7 year old sister...

Yeah, not playing the older games, you wont feel as attatched to the characters from other FF games.

When I bought KH, I hadnt played FF7/8/9/10, because AU didnt get FF pre-7, and I never owned a PS2 untill KH so before I even loaded KH, I went out and bought all the other games, just so i know a little of the backstory. KH was in my cupboard for months.

Totally unessesary to do, but I feel it was well worth it, it wipes out some of the cluelessness you'll have with the chars. However , some things are still kinda mysterious, even if you played the older ones.

tower in twilight town, to yen sid area was a good area to start up on it, easier monsters, and still around 20 of em, so could lvl it quickly. Just run through casting thunder, when high enough can swap over to the area geno mentioned.

you mean that place where are the "graves" save point? Cause I go there... and I go to fight things but there surely aren't as many or as weak as where I leveled wisdom form. Which was the first save point in "The World That Never Was" and I could easily kill 20~30 Heartless before I ran outta form powa!

there are no weakass nobody spots. Do yen sids tower to start its most likely the fastest as the nobodies are easier. However if you want to finish all synth stuff you may as well farm land that never was as well.

I owned Sephiroth my first serious try, it's pretty easy with Ultima Weapon. I have to agree and say he was a push over, much harder in KH1.

I keep reading everywhere there are only 7 Orichalcum+'s to get throughout the game (Have 5 atm), but it takes 13 to create the Ultima Weapon? Lil' help please...?

Just get all 7 + the extra materials and use the gem that halves material cost.

trying to get 100% is a pain in the butt i can't figure out how to do the twilight town mini-games when your combo's extend so far now. I mainly mean cargo climb and trash whatever its called ><. Also whats a good place to level wisdom form?



edit watched the hidden ending and mmm its intresting seems likes theres going to be another game (though sora's story seems to be over) I dunno though that video was awsome :D
