Let's talk about the improvements to PLD; will PLD be good in spam-like merit PTs? I have a bunch of PLD friends who say they have to go /nin in order to do any damage. But then, maybe it's not a PLD's place to do lots of damage. NIN get into spam parties based on their quite awesome DD abilities, they just tank on the side.

i think you inadvertantly answered your own question right there

PLD's aren't welcomed into TP spam parties because they *don't* have any offensive capabilities that are more worthy to a group than inviting another mnk/*, war/nin, nin/war, or whatever other melee you can insert into that group

There, PLD tank onry, worth exping off of, and not TP burnable.

NIN + Haste + Mob getting slow+elegy = problem solved, that sounds like a perfect situation for a nin tank!

No, faster than that. Like... 100 delay fast. Maybe make it undead with low chr. and 100% accuracy. Resists earth spells maybe. Errr takes less damage from slashing. God this is way too hard.

Really, theres just not great PLD DD gear.
