if they want whm to be better healers, this sharing hp/mp doesnt seem the way to go. I mean, I use enough mp on my whm I dont want to give some up to another class. I would like to see if they could maybe buff the barsleepra and shit like that so it would maybe work a bit. I guess the only other thing would be to make whm cures cost less mp than other classes, but I doubt that would happen
Honestly I didn't know that about Mazurka.![]()
Or go the other way and give them Cure Potency traits (2-3 would be nifty), possibly meritable, to get more out of their MP. And do make the barstatus shit worthwhileOriginally Posted by DeliriumII

brd idea is brilliant, i agree all the wayOriginally Posted by Russta
I don't think i have ever used things like capriccio or fantasia once since i learned them, at least not seriously
Yup, russta's idea actually makes sense...and you'd probably use it for normal mobs, or even NM/HNM that spam a nasty aoe status effect. As it is, some of those status effect songs (resist sleep/silence) are somewhat useful in ballista/brenner, but thats about it.
Anyone have a link to the topic on brd/nin tanking HNM through mazurka/march spam? I looked with search for the past 30 mins and can't find it...my LS is starting to use it, and I just wanted to get some others ideas on the topic. Wondering if most bard's go haste gears for this 100%, or just macro them in for recast and wear -% dmg gear or +hp +def gears.
wtf can they possible do to dark knight to make it better besides absorb-tp?? light > darkness endgame skillchains so unless they buff up different sc's its a waste of update space... just change the 2-hour to 100% accuracy.
wtf is capriccio and opretta ??
I bought it only so my spell list would be all green.
Go into magic menu, select the spell, move your eyes up and read the god damn discription. Have a nice day!![]()

I was being sarcastic >.>
I have good accuracy with my songs so when I get one of those PTs with a DRG in full AF and NQ amemet proclaiming he is the end-all be-all of DD excellence, I make sure he gets useless songs because he doesn't need any damage boost, wouldn't want my tanks losing hate.
Hey I <3 my NQ amemet.Originally Posted by Awoir

Capriccio is that thing that will make petrify wear off almost instantly and can let you have XP parties against petrifying mobs without having a white mage, like Lufaise Meadows thief parties.Originally Posted by NynJa

does anything else even matter other than this? lolOriginally Posted by Blazer
Operetta and Aubade are actually useful in ballista when you don't bring tons of echo drops/poison potions. :D But I'd still rather have march or minuet x2 and do a lil damage.Originally Posted by Daahan
A while ago when I was still kinda a noobish bard, I remember fighting Serket and trying Pastoral to avoid his strong/annoying poison, but that didn't work. Cappriccio doesn't work during the Ronstradumstradum Pumps runs. Hell, aubade doesn't even work vs the mandys in Yhoator. If these songs were at least effective some of the time they might be semi-useful.
Cool... now I have an excuse to AFK during the bullshit HNM fights. "Eh, I just gave the other WHM all my MP... afk 20 minutes."Originally Posted by FFXIFlux

They don't have to give whm anything new. Just let them cast Regen, bar spells, erase outside of a party and everything will be ok.
But of course, none on these changes are with endgame in mind. They are made for xp partying so it will be interesting how they can fuck up endgame with their changes.
