With the ease of cheating programs available, there are things you will never get to do (fighting Argus is an example).

People are completely consumed with the same fuckin thing over and over (Sky to Sea). It is the same thing. Stop it. It's an identical objective. Don't let Square help you convince yourself that you're not wasting your time, and that it's a new challenge. Realize how silly the effort is in this light.

Gil buying has blown things out of any sort of proportion a long time ago, and there is no going back. Square tries, and they can help repair things on some levels, but a band aid placed on a severed limb only delays the inevitable.

But, the most important reason the game sucks these days is that everyone that made the game fun have long since went their own ways. The others hang around, waiting for the days we had back then, but it just isn't there anymore.



I tried World of Warcraft recently, for the reason that it is meant for someone with a busy schedule in real life, and it's...mediocre. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but a feeling of repetition is the big thing on that game. Quests repeat themselves with different names. All in all, a good way to pass an hour in between shit in real life.

The end game for me is fun for me still after 2 years because we fucking own everything. I'm sure I'd of gotten bored of this game by now if my LS had any noteworthy competition be it NA or JP.

It's not as fun after you've done pretty much everything. What keeps a lot of people in the game is friends (At least that's my main reason.)

With the expansion coming out, I'm hoping there are some new things that they add.

I'll concor with that.

it's fun, but the fun wears out very fast in certain situations. I just had some of the best months in my 2-3 years of playtime, but the next day something awful happened and I had to put the game down and pick up WOW again.

I think if you play it in spurts it;s more than grinding it out and milking it every single day.
