Eh...I play this game because its here, and I play it because other people play it, and I want to continue to experience fun events with them. If it was gone, I wouldnt emo, or even care. I'd be happy in a small way, knowing that was the time I had with it, and move on. I don't really think most people would care if FFXI just stopped, Im sure alot of people have other interests they're holding back on because of this game, things they'd gladly pickup again. Eh...I play this game because its here, and I play it because other people play it, and I want to continue to experience fun events with them. If it was gone, I wouldnt emo, or even care. I'd be happy in a small way, knowing that was the time I had with it, and move on. I thought it over yesterday and looked at my playtime clock... Yes I had alot of fun over the past two years or so playing the game. I also live a very relaxed life because of it.

However, I also looked at it as if I took a different path...

What if, instead of playing this game for 155days+, I worked 40hrs/week? Now I know this isn't big money for the average adult... but I just assumed with my low paying job as a lifeguard, working 40 hours a week at an assumed $6.43/hr (which is what I got paid and assuming I never got a raise) over a 2 year and 3 month period (which is about how long I played FFXI)

the gross total came out to be $30,092.40

Now of course that's gross total, assuming 25-30% to taxes puts me down to roughly $22,000 then of course expenses with travelling to work and school, car insurance and all that would probably knock it down $3K-$4K more (those are the only expenses that I have since I still live at home and have nice parents.) To me, being 18 years old, I would love an extra $18,000. Just think, by now I could have owned a pretty decent vehicle and began saving for a down payment toward a house or something. But instead, I chose to enjoy my childhood, live pretty much stress free and have fun most of the time.

I don't regret my choice because I had fun, enjoyed my childhood learned alot and made a bunch of friends in the process, but just think if I would have chose a different route? I'd be alot better off in the real world.

Actually, you should drink water and eat saltines or some mixture of the two. You have a hangover because of Hypovolemic thirst, meaning your body is not only low on water, but on the salt nutrients needed as well. By just drinking water or gatorade you're not gonna get rid of the hangover.

That said....getting drunk in the morning doesn't get rid of the hangover, it just makes you not care or feel it :wink:

Drinking alcohol when you have a hangover only gives you one later on, you still get a hangover so just be smart and deal with it normally.
