To build a linkshell from the ground up... try new things, come up with strategies on your own, That says something. Linkshells like Hokuten, Kazoku, BG, DP and PoS can take pride that when they try something for the first time, it really is the first time for most of their members. And when they take something down, they do it with their own strategies and members.

But right... that just means they all bot/rmt/dupe/refuse to have your ebabies/MPK/ whatever. Maybe you should pay attention to your own linkshell and stop worrying about the affairs of others.

Oh snap, Kalahari posted a pic of my Paladin gear when I was tanking Tiamat. Can only prove one thing right? I can't possibly RMT with shit gear like that lol. Not everyday somone can say we got Tiamat down to 199% If I remember correctly, Kinzuru was the only NA LS to even show up. Only other ls there was FI and Sist. It popped so early in the morning we had to scavenge any jobs that was available and I happen to have a tank job. Takes skill to tank Tiamat with gimped gear. Tiamat Trouncer biotches.

As a PLD for Tiamat I think as long as you have enmity your gear isn't going to matter.. it's going to come down the mages giving you the proper support.

Depends on how you tank him, if you blink his hits away with 2-3 PLD/NIN and NINs then it all comes down to the skill of the blinkers. (Utsusemi:Ichi has no effect...lol) I know a PLD/WAR on Siren who solo tanks Tiamat with some of the most random gear (Behemoth Mantle and Peacock Charm) and its mainly his AAing mages that make him look as good as he does. And he's JP.

Yeah my statement was kind of aimed at PLD/WAR tanking for Tiamat. If you're tanking Tiamat like that a ton of whether you live or die is going to depend good support from your mages. I'd hope it's kind of assumed that if you're tanking Tiamat you have some kind of skill at your job, though I've been proven wrong.
