Yeah what I did was stupid, but at the same time you need to hold that standard to everyone.

the list of people doesn't mean the rule applies just to them, it means the rule exists because of them. the rule does apply to everyone.

There have been plenty of other things that have been more degrading to the forums but no action is taken.

probably, but there's a time limiting factor. adding moderators is not an option on these forums.

but do not simple choose what you want to moderate.

why? this is a totally voluntary role. BG forums have had maybe 12 different admins and moderators, at least 6 of which have never used a moderator function the whole time they held that position.

Moderate everyone if you are going to moderate at all.

I am not trying to give you a hard time, your post just seemed very vauge about who gets banned, warned, ect on the boards for the offenses. Also I am not saying you have to brouse the forums 24/7 but it may be a good idea to make Xavier a full moderator again simply because he does brouse the forums alot. It would allow for more constient moderating. Its not my forum anyways so my opinion on the matter is zero.

Purpose of my quote was to point out the wall of text and why the thread would be locked. Safe to say I was the only person that made a semi-intelligent response to the multi-lined quote compared to the quoted responses whose purpose was to make the thread as big as possible with the same wall of text. (("I predict locked thread within 3 pages") or something to that nature)

I'm not trying to start a war here, but this is a site for both WoW and FFXI. You can't just ban someone for playing WoW and posting in FFXI and let the people who do go to the WoW forum and bash it get away.

The problem is not with people who play WoW and stick to the WoW section, the problem lies with the people who feel the need to come into the FFXI forums and do nothing but bash.

Do you honestly think that someone who quit WoW for FFXI went into the WoW section simply to invade and derail posts would not be banned if it were even half as common as it is in the FFXI section?

Just cause it doesn't relate to you doesn't mean it doesn't concern you. There is still the case that a lolWoW'er can troll the FFXI section get banned then Bert would unban them later, but if a random FFXI talk person did the same in the WoW section (and wasn't in BG) and got banned chances are he'd stay banned.

The amount of WoW people who troll the FFXI forums is alot more then the FFXI who troll the WoW forums, and even that was because well... immaturely you started it in a sense.
