Season 4 was the best.
Not to be an asshat but I think its supposed to be was, not were, as stated before. If the show was named Brick instead of 24, would you say "If Brick were real"? The fact that the subject here is a number confuses the issue a bit I think, but as far as I know it should be 'was' instead of 'were' because '24' is a singular noun in this case, not plural as it normally would be.but no, its supposed to be were lito.
'Was' is correct as someone stated.
24 is not an amount, and therefore it is not plural which would require the usage of 'were'
24 is a singular object, a name, which requires the usage of 'was'
He is not saying "If there were 24 show's"
He is saying "If the show 24 was real"
There is a difference, subtle i know.

In hypothetical sentences, were is usually used instead of was:
If I were you, I’d learn how to drive.

It is important to note that was can also be used (although still considered incorrect by some grammarians), and is, in fact, more common in informal English.
Sometimes I wish I was/were taller."
So it kinda means both forms are correct, because we aren't speaking formal English here(are we?), but to note, if we were speaking formal English then you should have said "If the show were named brick instead of 24...".
*Wonders how many grammitical errors I just wrote*

24 sucks, how can you all watch it?
"HAY GUYZ, I have a pistol and gonna kill all 10 of you walking around with AK-47s!"

Kim's shenanigans were worse in Season 2 than season one. Chased by a cougar? Seriously.
Terry's whole "random amnesia that lasts 4 episodes and then vanishes, never to be heard from again" plotline was the worst part of season one.

I hated Terry with a passion. Her death was the fuel that this show needed to jump start in the right direction. A good mix of tragedy, added with an amazing plot twist in Nina being the mole really helped set the foundation for making Jack the badass he is. Sup having the woman you cheated on your wife with, kill your wife, and end up being the sole reason you're in this mess to begin with. Oh yeah, you gotta pardon her of all crimes too.
Anyone ever watch that one movie made by Sci-Fi. It was like one of them 3 part things. But anyway jack was some scientist and made time thingy. pritty tight. Not only does he save the world, but he made a time machine. (I truely forget the plot of the show, all i can remember is the time machine... atleast I think it was. But im 100% sure he was a smart science dude)..
The last two episodes of Season 1 were just godly however. And when the true 'bad guys' are revealed about halfway in, that was pretty cool too.
I would of like season 1 a lot more if it wasn't for Terry Bauer. She just annoyed me sooo bad throughout the whole season. "omg I have amnesia" and the breakdowns she had every episode. I was so happy when she got killed.Originally Posted by BRP
