Also russta, what would be your strat for Kaiser with this group? We had 3 minutes at the end of our run today and we did some tests, and with full mp, we got him down to about 80%...

Get to the floor with at least ten minutes remaining and have the Black Mages alternate enmity with each other. One Black Mage starts with Thunder IV or Thundaga III then as soon as it hits he runs clockwise. As Kaiser goes to run past the other Black Mage he starts to cast on its ass (important) then instantly runs counter-clockwise as soon as his spell lands. Repeat ad infinitum.

Damage wise, the Red Mage pretty much gets to thumb his anus for that time because he's gonna get resisted to hell. Refresh the Black Mage without hate while being sure not to cure bug him and keep Bio II on Kaiser.

I really want to know how possible it would be to take on the adamantoise/faffy bosses with this small group alone. If it is possible, I would like to try it. I am always up for a challenge.

Even though we sometimes would get to Cynoprosopi's floor with over 50 minutes left with just six people, we would always skip Millenary Mossback. Though his chest can contain coins, it's so rare that I believe it's only possible if Treasure Hunter is present. Unless someone in your group is really desperate for Fetid Lenolin, don't even waste the time.

Cynoprosopi with your setup? I'm not saying it's impossible but I certainly wouldn't try it. Maybe with some very skilled opening of the restore crate you could pull it off if you feel that you're all able to deal 15,000 points of damage with only five Elemental Sealed sleeps (you should really waste one pulling him) and without raping your time.

We've always gotten coins from Mossback's chest, iirc. We also got Light Thread from that chest both the last two times we've done it.

Someone mentioned soloable thf runs? The only thing I am really interested from limbus is one AF piece. 30 coins, and I already have all the needed items. Im just not gonna pay 150-200k per coin.

hey anybody noticed the gunpods from proto-omega bc have stopped dropping apollyon chips? the last couple of runs my group has gone to, the gunpods would only drop coins and AF materials... wondering if we are just unlucky or SE has changed it

not sure if i should open a new thread about this so let's see if i get good responses here... thanks 8)

Last Proto-Omega got 2 Smalt Chips from gunpods. Was pretty recent, doubt it's changed. 3 Gunpods popped during the fight, so there's always a chance they wont drop chips/coins. One time a pod only dropped a Light Filament.

Our last Proto-Omega fight the gunpods both dropped the BRD item, first one was needed but second one was just trashed, kind of annoyed me ): At least Omega was nice and spit out 3 Homam pieces.

Sorry to bump a thread that died about 2 weeks ago but just for russta, trioing Cynoprosopi is workable. Not here to brag, but just give people faith in manaburn setups for this side of limbus to get a few extra coins.

We could have done better on it too but we were hesitant at first and really just tried it as a joke. Things we learned was that it does not draw in, hard to sleep without ES but possible, and very very easily Gravity'd. We even tried to make it flail a few times but it never did. Practically sat on its tail and hit thundaga 3 but nothing haha.

The box had 8 coins in it which boosted our number up a lot, but we ultimately ended up with the same amount because we ran out of time with Kaiser Behemoth at 50ish%. I'm confident that next time, provided we don't get screwed on time on the first 2 floors, we can do both the fafhogg boss and Kaiser.

Yeah, it's easily manaburnable by 3 blm (4th was a whm at entrance, not in PT). Gravity stick well, so you just kite it when you have hate. If Grav wore off and for w/e reason, you can't recast, kite it around the big rock where both time chest are. You can hold him forever with his bad pathfinding.
