Nintendo Revolutions is so not gonna be for fat people.

BUT, they could make controllers that you strap on to you legs and hands and make a work out game where you control a sexy women that gives men the incentive to bend down just to see her ass and bend in freaky ways.

It seems like it would require you to be extra-ambidextrous to me. This is just a guess, but movement with right thumbpad, look with left thumbpad and control gun with arm movement? FPS already are kinda lame with look/move even with the standard analog controllers, I think this just adds another layer of difficulty. Mouse and keyboard always wins for FPS's though, always.

Anyways I see revolution as more for the laidback gamer who just wants to sit down and have some fun for 20 minutes every once and awhile. Which probably doesn't describe a lot of us. Of course they'll cater to the extreme gamers with Zelda and the other franchise favorites (which will probably be some of the best games around), but other then that cooking, surgery, and paiting with Bob Ross.. I'd rather run over some pedestrians in GTA for PS3 then paint a happy bush with Bob Ross IMHO.

I respect Nintendo and as I said the franchise games will be great, but I just think PS3 will have an overall better selection of games. Maybe E3 this year will change my mind, who knows.

I too had fun killing pedestrian and running over them, but it got tiring after some while, the action you do is always the same old same old thing, your character dictates what is he gonna do when you pressed a button, and he always do it with same strength and animation everytime.

For example if you have a steel bat and there's a bitch in front of you, what do you do? press some button to kill her immediately? with revo controller you can crush her legs and hit her legs repeatedly till she scream, then equip chainsaw to cut both of her hand, and if she's still alive, put a grenade in her mouth, wait a bit till she cried and shoot the grenade PRECISELY. can you do that on other platform? maybe, but i'm sure it will be funner on revolution ^^

the controller can create a little 3d space where you can move around your hand precisely. In today's average fps game, your hand is your camera and a cursor. If you move, your hand moved and so does the camera, it's so not realistic and i think it's one of the weakness of today's fps, so many movements made me headache >_>

want to know what is another good (lol) game for revo? irritating stick! dunno if anyone played it, but it's one of those "precision" game where you moved a stick inside a track thing, if you touched something, you die.

Wait wait, you know this how? Speculation is great and all but whatever you say is just what you think.

What you said about GTA has to be the dumbest thing I've heard for possibilities for the Revo. You know why? Cause you didn't think about anything else other then beating some bitch on the street.

I take it you don't play games that much if you can't handle a simple FPS, the only thing that worries me is the space and energy needed to play a good game, I think people would get tired of playing a game if they actually got tired from playing it. The good thing about controls is you can play whenever you like in whatever condition. I'm willing to bet the games that can use specialized controllers would have normal setups as well.

A samurai game looks good, but if you can tired after 30mins of playing it I don't think that's a good sign.

Wanna know what I think most developers will do? Take the easy simple route to make a game and have a good ad campaign to hype it up. Like Enkidu said I don't wanna buy a console where the majority of games are made up of fishing/cooking/surgery/golf/whateverlameideayoucanthinkoff games.

eh? I play games a little too much, thank you so many games, so little time >_> though j-rpg is my fave, some american developed game is pretty fun too, albeit tiring, that's why I hope they can evolve the genre again.

the flaw of fps i just described might not be annoying, but imo, it's pretty unrealistic and shows how limited you are to the current 2d controller movement right now.

and excuse me about the bitch comment, reading latest death note chapters made me want to kill someone

I can relate to that, Death Note is awesome. About FPS's, it may be "unrealistic", but then isn't that why we play games? I say it's pretty fun, although light gun games are more fun in one way a FPS has more playability to it =x
