higher skill lower acc?

It's been shown on these and other forums, unless you have evidence that /check isn't a reliable way to gauge accuracy.

To OP: This DRK you speak of has no merits? Did he use HQ food and you didn't? Are you sure his gear is identical (including weapon choice) other than the RK gear?

These seem the most obvious with other things like gravity, frost, absorb-agi lol. Although honestly 80-85% acc is pretty low at 75. If you're partying somewhere where mobs can blind you the speed of you mages/whether you bring eyedrops will also play a role.

I'm not saying it's inaccurate, I was just correcting what Genosync said, but I shouldn't have used the word "supposedly".

Yes, I did actually. I don't see anywhere that it says "my DRK in the same area". It just says "DRK in the same area".

I decided to go try a merit party on bst/nin just to see how it would do. After being out there for a while I noticed my acc was only like 80-85% which I thought was odd because DRK/NIN with the same setup almost(trading RK breeches for black cuisses on drk) runs 90% acc in the same area. I can't seem to figure out why bst acc is so much lower than drk, seeing drk axe caps at 240 and on bst axe caps at 269. How does an extra 29 skill give lower acc, wondering if anyone had any ideas because no one in game seems 2.

Please point out where he says he is the DRK because I don't see it.

I also got the impression that he was parsing against himself.

I don't know enough about melee jobs to comment, but I definately notice the accuracy difference on DRK between GSword and Scythe (even only a 6 point skill difference is noticable). Perhaps different jobs have different base accuracy.

Base stats maybe? Thats really weird. Parse it again possibly? Did you ever forget to re-use food for a few minutes on BST at some point?

There are no threads about that though. DrObvious was just saying that unless someone can show /check is not valid then it is .9acc/skill since it was proven using /check.

Who cares about technicallitys, mertited h2h lets you eat meat, merited sword gives you insane tp, do we need any more proof that skill is important for accuracy?

I ran a parser for both jobs using sushi on both with no changes to merits between both runs.

It really, really sounds to me like he's parsing against himself on both jobs at different times.
