BLU, COR, and PUP God/Abjur ?

It is likely that the three new jobs will be able to wear the three 'god' armor sets and several of the abjuration sets. What do you think they are going to wear each? In my opinion...

Sky God set - Consair
Nashira - Blue Mage
Homam - Puppet Master

Then again, Consair and Puppet Master could be switched.

Agreed, Corsair looks like it would use the Acc and R.Acc from the set, HP/MP from possible /WHM sub etc. PUP seems like it will be a melee job so it would use alot of the stats from Shinra set like a MNK does. BLU appears to have magic attacks that would benefit from the various pieces on Nashira w/ Magic Acc etc.

as much as i want my smn and whm gear to overlap with blue mage gear, i need a change :D

blue mage might be damn freaky, you'd have to learn all the dmg modifiers behind all attacks in the game... imagine stacking str and dex, with acc for sickle slash, then having to equip a vulcan's staff and int gear for bomb toss

i hope blue mage doesnt become the funnel for all excesses in the AH

I think PUP will wear Shura, BLU will wear Zenith and COR to wear Hectacomb (probably not Crimson but maybe that).

Also, I could see COR wearing the Sky God set as well as PUP.

Based on previous interviews SE said that the there are multiple kinds of puppets, I hope this allows for a large variation in PUP gameplay and thusly a large variation in the gears it can wear.

None of them look like tank jobs , which will fuck up my meriting, so I don't plan on playing any of them. Puppetmaster looks like BST kinda job, with BLU and COS like Mage/Support, so screw that.

True, but if it was using tools or somesuch they likely would have revealed it by now. I think their silence as much as anything says its just going to be the normal method of MP usage. That and it DOES have the word mage in its name.

They officially said they would use MP. I don't feel like digging for it, but its fact. They use MP.

The way I see PUP is an armor using h2h damage dealer. It will be more like DRG, but have more options, like a Fellow.

For Abjurations, I think BLU will share the same with RDM. PUP will be similiar to SAM or WAR. COR will be like RNG. I doubt they get too creative.

QFT. Except I'll level it to 70, have fun with Ridll for 5 levels, and go back to playing WAR for everything.
