I usually go to stuff like Fafnir on WAR if I'm asked to come as a DD... But yeah, even as SAM on something like him I'd use Sushi.

I usually cry at my 190 damage kashas (low end) on Fafnir using sushi.
What Mifaco is trying to say here is. Eat meat dishes.Originally Posted by Mifaco

Doesn't DRK have the most skill+, with Scythe?

so.............would soboro sukehiro+crappy equip...........be good? lol
also can zanshin kick in on multi hit weapons ie soboro sukehiro
I am pretty sure Paladin would tie that as well with their sword skill. But a paladin meritting sword, lol.
276 + 5 (Suppa) + 16 (merits) + 7 (Fort Torque) = 304.Originally Posted by Mysterio

Can wear a good bit of powerful armor and Justice Sword and Joyeuse are very nice offhands.
What about AF hands, rice balls nigga![]()
You are correct, Paladin could still beef themselves up damage-wise with all of that.Originally Posted by Eaglestrike
But it would seem rather silly, as their combat skill merits would be better spent put into parrying and shield in my opinion. They still lack damage dealing oriented job abilities to even compare with a Dragoon, let alone a Warrior or Dark Knight, using them as an example of damage dealing oriented jobs.
Sorry I wasn't clear enough, lol. I am sure a paladin could deal some damage, but aren't they are generally used more for tanking?
according to bradyguides paldain/rng is teh 1337+1
As PLD/NIN I can out damage a DRG. Just need some Hecatomb peices.Originally Posted by Mysterio
Heian I am sure you probably could, poor Drg's gave them too much credit it seems lol.Originally Posted by Heian
But Heian, have you maxed out your sword using your combat skill merits? I was implying your average paladin would not.

No, never would need to either. I can get over +40 Acc Bonus Easy as PLD and eat meat to make up for the lack of STR/DEX gear. Probably better though to go with sushi and macro in Hecatomb for Vorpal Blade. Also the +5 Skill from Supponimi and +7 from Justice Torque (lawlzdroprate) would also make up greatly. I only use PLD/NIN in burn PTs to keep a buffer, still does more damage than alot of other shitty players I have been with.Originally Posted by Mysterio
Still debating on how to do my combat skills though, I am thinking just go 8Katana/4Shield. Possibly 6Katana/3Evasion/3Shield. I need to look over a couple more setups though on both PLD and NIN
Though I'm sure it was just something that slipped your mind, Sword skill is from Fortitude, so its not actually that bad of a Torque to get. Ghrah M Chips are a joke.
As someone said earlier, Hachiman Sune-ate(+1) own anything SAM currently has in the feet department.
And to answer those meat elitists who think they are better than everyone when in fact their DRKs wear DEX rings at 75 *cough* Mifaco: SAMs can use sushi for good reasons. I personally don't TP in any accuracy gear outside the neck piece simply because stacking store TP owns stacking accuracy. The fact that I can build 100TP in 6 hits makes me a WS machine and with sushi I always get those 6 hits in.
For a job that relies on its ability to WS most often, I think going for the best acc you can get while using the Store TP probably is your best bet. I have mine on hold, but when I hit 50 it is going to be wearing Shinimusha Hara-Ate, Rajas Ring, and Shinimusha Haidate. Also be using Fuma, Swift Belt, and a Soboro Sukehiro, so whenever you attack that fast for that much TP I'd rather just never miss than do some extra damage each time if I happen to hit.
