since this is strictly a sea shell, i'm going to assume loyalty is pretty fleeting, thus when you cash out u'll get the most bang for your buck by IGEing aureole, ninurta's sash, or novio earring

Though loyalty may be fleeting, some people like sea a LOT, and its a lot easier to stick with an established LS (one that beat AV no less) than leave it. This WHM sounds like he likes sea, why else would you spend so much time there.

Please tell your whm he is a lootwhore promptly. There is literally no justification for any job but blm to lot on this before anyone else, especially if the points are close. Instead of your whm being a nice guy that lends the earring out, he is a D-bag that has an item to boost his e-peen. No proof is needed besides the fact he chose it over the evasion earring.

What I don't get, is if he was indeed in it for the Epeen, why not choose Novia? It's not like Novio is a rarer earring, they both drop off of the same mob, they both basically give the same amount of "E-peen status."
So not only is Novia pimp, it's sure as hell better for his jobs and you're bound to get better responses for wearing it in Jeuno over Novio. (Where there's the chance that someone will call you a stupid lootwhore for lotting a BLM item.) I dunno if he did indeed just do this for his Epeen, it all doesn't add up.

I thought that at first as well. Why would anyone choose an earring that does nothing for them and fucks many other people instead of choosing one that would actually be beneficial to you? This leaves us with 2 choices:
1) Selfish asshat

I read up on the defense for the whm who got the Novio earring, and found it hilarious one of the reasons used was that whms do not get anything/or much from sea, well, Blms do not either, Novio earring is about it, to say we get the obis is a moot point since any blm worth their while can solo the mobs to get the organs for the obis. Though is definately not my ls, nor it does not matter, that whm is still a douchebag for lotting on a blm item when his own blm is not able to equip it. To just say he had the points is very faulty, but oh well.

Agree with Aurik. All the successful endgame linkshells on Titan, which includes Sea, Dynamis, HNM, etc., all run off of point systems. Need before Greed sucks. You work for what you want and earn it. The WHM definitely put in the effort to get the earring, and nobody really said otherwise. He can do whatever he wants with it since he earned it: use it for Banish damage, lend it out to people, or tape it to a stick and use it to scratch his ass.

I avoided 15 pages of the novio issue because people in our ls already presented most of the facts, but I respect Lockecole enough to answer his question. On our first Love kill, no earrings dropped. On our second one, Novio dropped. We didn't know whether we would get a Novia this month, or even this year. It was our next two loves that dropped two Novias.

IMO -7 Enmity buries -7 MAB, by a long shot... While I'm not going to go and flame him or the LS, just in general I really don't understand how a WHM without BLM leveled would ever prefer MAB over -Enmity.

Even if I was a 75 WHM and a 75 BLM, I'd take enmity over it in a second. It would be useful for both WHM and BLM, as well as just about any other mage job I level. Enmity in large amounts is extremely powerful, and I'm beginning to think some people must underestimate it.

The WHM I usually have with me in the tank PT has never pulled hate in the last several months of HNM fighting, aside from rare occasions when everyone died and she was the one of the only few left. She has used Benediction often, for up to 3-5k HP healed between the members of tank PT, as well as being one of the primary supporters with cures and buffs, and still never pulls hate. And she is praised for it as well.

IMO Being able to do that is way more of an accomplishment than an extra 10-100 damage on a MB for epenis points, as both a WHM and a BLM. Am I the only one that agrees with that?

Also, Demetrios, reading it over I didn't make it very clear, but I meant as a person who has both a 75 WHM and a 75 BLM. I don't mean I expect a 75 BLM to want enmity more than MAB, but to me it just seems that in overall importance to the person and their performance that the -enmity would be better as a WHM than the +7 MAB could be better as a BLM... In a situation where a 75WHM and a 75BLM had to make that choice.
