Lol yeah~ the wall is pretty weak. Last time we popped AV and got rid of his 2 hours, we tried legit tanking. We were at the wall like 15 minutes later. Took about 1-1/2 hours to beat it manaburning, so it'd probably be a 2-3 hour fight legit, power to whoever beats it straight up. I'll take the title and drops any day though! :O

The fact the WHM wanted to take it over letting a BLM lot speaks volumes of lootwhoredness. The LS loot distro is fine...it was the WHM that was the problem imo.

The WHM is one of the nicest guys I know in the shell. It was basically the only thing he wanted (that he didn't already have) so he took it. He still shows up and lends it out to people when we're doing stuff and that's that. I would seriously rather him have it than (conceivably) another BLM who just joined the shell. That is, if we had no other BLMs with any points.

I know it seems silly but there's no way to guarantee (with a job priority system) that 'the best job for the item' doesn't get away with putting in very little work for a good item. Plus, all these items are 'rare' and can be traded >_>

I agree with what a lot of you guys are saying, but sea is a unique circumstance.

You can't spend points on 'gil' items or something else. We're not an HNM shell so the WHM couldn't spend his points on anything else. It's either torques, capes (which he already had), or JoL and AV drops.

To Stilgar: The wall trick is silly lol. I admit it. It's either kill him at the wall or let him despawn because nobody can beat AV straight up (and plenty of people have tried). And now that we could get drops, there is more incentive just to beat him rather than taking the other route.

Yeah yeah you guys are entitled to your opinions, but, it doesn't have that much weight if you've never even used the earring. I've used it, I know what it's like, and I'll tell you this, I do NOT think its worth spending every point you have ( because yes, with earrings and AV drops you spend all points on it ), so this is why I'm so defensive. Because he's not lootwhoring some insanely god like item, I was the only one that was truly mad about him getting the earring, but I got over it.

Now, if he got the sash, that would be an entirely different story! Well, at least in my opinion ._.

Fact of the matter is, next time around, I won't be lotting earring, the blm above me wont be lotting, a few below me wont be lotting either.

You make a good point. I'm pretty sure it would be easier to beat the crap out of Meret and take her loot than to jump through jailer hoops and finally glitch the 'toughest mob in the game' into dropping some sins for you to cash in.

it's a 5%+ increase in a blm's damage. That's a brutal earring equivilent, and you ask any melee, and they'll say brutal is an insanely god like item. The ONLY items in the game that increase a blm's power more than that are: NQ/HQ staves, latent Sorcerer's Ring, and latent U pendant. It's equal to 5 merits in potency, but for all spells. Please don't try and sit there and say it's not worth a career blm spending all his/her points on, because there's nothing else out there for them that's even remotely close to being that good.

A whm has no right to lot that over any blm that has been consistently showing up to those sea runs, period. Congrats for killing AV, and fuck your whm for doing the most selfish thing I've seen in a long time.

IMO the most important thing about Novio is that the other things in its spot blow ass. Sure U pendant latent is better, but youre giving up 7 ele skill. Novio is almost as good and you only lose 3 ele skill or 2 int. It's this aspect that makes Novio so awesome IMO.

I think that whm is retarded. People are in that LS to get sea stuff. They go to events, get points, and then spend it. Every person there knows what drops from and what they want. At what point did this whm find out theres nothing for whm and want a blm item instead? People argue he's nice and has earned it but why the fuck is he there if he doesn't want anything except to take a blm piece.

Then just use your points to get rare items to sell for gil, just make sure your not screwing some XXX job in the ass when doing it..

He lends it out all the time, letting a large amound of people use what is probably the only Novio on Titan. It's not sitting in his MH or Inventory collecting dust, it is getting good use.
