You guys are forgetting this WHM basically helped build the LS too (with attendance when sea was a new thing). He didn't know (from the start) that he couldn't get anything else because he got his cape and that's the only good item for WHM in sea (maybe Prudence torque). But seriously, there was a learning process to this. It's not like a lvl 30 warrior lotting on an e.body abjuration or something.

We all learned while we tried to make our way through the jailers and AV. I hope enough WHMs stick around to at least lot on the torques or our LS will be pretty deficient since we can fight ix'NMs for the cape whenever we want. That is, if they're in it for the items.

Taking the earring then selling it and keeping the gil all to himself would be messed up. We all worked hard to get JoL drops, and to bring JoL down. The way its handled now, everyone who would want to use it can use it instead of one person gaining.

Map has banned BLM pretty much. Good thing his SAM gear is pretty sick. Even a bigger travesty would be Map's BLM having the magic attack earring than the WHM that currently has it >_>

Yes, I would have to agree >_> Maps BLM is "retired" as in, he brings it to things and dies + de levels and doesn't care. He sold basically all his gear and said this one day at prudence, "Finally, I can sell my ele staves now!" after he got prudence rod lol...

If I had a second job at 75; I'd never touch RDM again, even though its decked out completly... best gear possible in many slots.. only major items missing are AFv2 Hat and Sea Cape.

Only 2 jobs i would rather quit FFXI than play at 75 are DRG & RDM 8)
