I am kinda happy they have armor sets with bonus. I mean it give people a true reason to collect a full set, and not wear mixed up sets. I am sorry but at times in FFXI the best gear choices per slot make us look like complete assholes who got dressed in the dark and are color blind.

Unless it has a high damage rating (80+), it'll probably suffer the same fate as Fortitude in the fact that there's already better G.Axe's out there (Rune Chopper for EXP, Martial Bhuj for Wyrms). And considering the DMG of every multi-hit weapon post-Ridill, I'm not expecting much.

If it was around 75 DMG, 1-2 hit, war only, and didn't multi hit on DA then it really wouldn't be a complete replacement for fortitude.

That's true, the latest multi-hit weapon, Bahamut's Zanghal (Scythe), is a mere 24 damage. I'd like a multi-hit Great Axe to skill up/play with (for DRK) that doesn't require inventory killing virtuestones though. On a slightly related note is the Algol a Sword of Great Sword?

Okay, so I'm already sick of ToA and it isn't even out yet. When is the next expansion coming out? Oh yeah, not for at least a year because ToA won't actually be done until then.

As for "ze queen" up above, yeah. They need to crack the whip on their art team to get the costumes looking more sane for males. The bard JSE is really where it started but puppet master AF is taking it to whole new levels of "I like it up the ass and I don't even want a reach-around."

full sets of armor with special bonuses have been in games since like the f'n SNES. there are so many games that have hidden or not hidden bonuses when you pair up logical combinations i can't even remember the first time i saw it.

Charged items, fun little npcs you can dress up and play with, bonuses for sets, UNID(???) ITEMS.

Even if these havel been around, one of, if not the, most popular games that has all of these things is..............ding ding ding correct. Diablo 2.

I'm honestly drawing a blank to any snes games that had a bonus for any full set of armor, and just about every rpg I can think of past snes only has 2-4 slots for any type of equipment. Please enlighten me(non sarcastic).
