My question to the geeky guys out there, I hear to many complain that they can't get a girl, yet what kind of girl do they want to be with? the cheerleader.

No seriously, all these guys I hear whine "my girlfriend is upset I'm playing ff." or "she made me quit WoW". Well guess what, there are a LOT of geeky girls out there, but when it comes to reality, the guys always seem to choose the tall thin blonde who goes clubbing, rather than the nice geek next to him who has a LOT more incommon and understands them a LOT better. To this day I think my bf is a freak of nature. He's the first geek I met who actually didn't mind I was a geek versus a super model. D:

So though I agree women can be dumb when it comes to guys, guys are also dumb when it comes to women. XD Zomg drama.

Well then you weren't friends with benefits. Its no strings attached, and if someone is secretly "attached" then something is wrong with them, not the system. If its going how its supposed to, you're technically using each other, so you can't get mad at the other, so nothing bad happens =p

Honestly... I'm too indecisive and picky (which I wish I could prevent) with stuff like relationships. At first, I'll begin to like a girl and we'll get along great, then I'll just kinda 'go off her'. I dunno what it is, but I'm way too picky, and I hate being that way. /emo

I have a girlfriend who is a dork, and still cute with a rather nice body. She is finishing her microsoft certification, has gotten a few others already, so she is very technologically proficient and we both play FFXI so it works out fantastically for me. We also both have a lot in common which helps, but most of all I think it is the circumstances that brought us together which is why we are doing so well.

And I do believe it's perfectly fine to be single, I did it for a quite some time between relationships. There are a lot of time relationships aren't good for someone, or they is just never the right person for it. And there is also the fact that all guys are bastards and all women are crazy, so that often puts people off <.< I think getting into a relationship is mostly about finding the right person, if not then you'll get stuck in a relationship like Locke was talking about and believe me that is complete hell.

Don't get too involved with someone unless you are 100% certain they're right for you, and if you aren't finding anyone, be single and enjoy the hell out of it because it is low stress and lots of fun.

Heh thanks Odon, I know I am.

And Niro, your way of thinking is actually really common, I know I've generally thought the same way (only wanting women). I had a girlfriend and after a lot of hell and we didn't work out, tried to be friends with benefits and it really didn't work and generally was a mistake. To me there is no point in any sort of relationship unless it has the potential of being a life-long thing, so I'd just wait and stick it out, eventually you will find someone.

And the best advice I can ever give is if you are looking for someone, STOP LOOKING. The best things smack you in the face when you don't want them to. Started in with my girlfriend after I had sworn to stay away from women and just try to enjoy being single and not having any commitments.
