I think it's very obvious this is no longer a BG only forum. It's more of an end-game community here, they still have private boards to post on that we cant see.

It's also very obvious that before the split, there was actual moderator presence on the forums, even the public ones. Now pretty much anything goes. Questionable content is posted, every thread is guaranteed to be flamed and trolled within the first 5 posts, and even dirty laundry that should be internal to their LS is left for everyone to debate. The FFXI BG members can't even stop WoW BG members from flaming them.

Just an observation from Capt. Obvious. :wink:

I dont see why it's such a bad thing though, everyone is trying to think of the "Good ol' days" of BG. But alot of people , no denying, come to this forum and thrive off the drama.

I find it hilarious, nothing better than pressing refresh to see another funny post or someones in game reputation shatter to oblivion. It's happened to me ;p it'll happen to others, it'll keep happening.

Only thing i'd change is the WoW posters making stupid topics on the FF boards, but when the moderators do wake up (they usually post at off peak times), you'll see the post locked and moved.

As much as you guys think I'm just a guy who started posting suddenly, I've been reading these forums for a LONG time. Honestly, people on forums love having a common enemy to flame to shit. Its honestly fun to flame people on forums, I've done it a lot. I've seen MUCH worse posts than mine go unnoticed and MUCH stupider members, ones who can't form a coherent sentence, keep posting unflamed. I just became the target of flames and I've come to accept it.

Think of me as something to have fun at expense of until ToAU comes out and new things are actually discovered.

Oh and guys, don't bitch about my post count while flaming me nonstop with just random posts like 'GTFO'. It would probably be 1/3 of what it is if you all didn't attack me so much, making me defend myself.
