He basically said that getting a mob stuck in the wall is an exploit. I tried to tell him that this was the Dev Team's problem and not ours. He then said his shift was over, to discuss this with my LS tonight, and to place a GM call tomorrow so we could further discuss the matter.

That's not what I said. I said we had a holding party there 1 hour there before it did in fact pop, not 1 hour before we knew 100% it was going to pop. We didn't know exactly when it would pop, only that it would sometime that evening since it was getting to the very end of Tiamat's pop window. Not rocket science.
