how many non-galkas do you see running around trying to suck off as much HP as possible in slots via RSE belts?

This is a god-send for them. As a galka though, its a toss up for me. +3 enimity or +26 HP(HNMing) Warwolf for exp of course, but for HNM its situational and leans towards the Marid

Anyone have ideas on luminium ore? I've probably burned like 20 pickaxes in Halvung, got lots of mythril and moblin/troll pieces. Could be just I've been really unlucky, or maybe there's mining point in the Mount?

Actually, When I was poking Cerberus the other day, I spotting a mining point in the little courtyard area he is in. Have fun mining there though :/

I've gone through 3 stacks of pickaxes in halvung and 3 stacks in the mountain and didn't get any of the new ore. Halvung my best was gold ore, and I got a couple adaman ore's in the mount. As far as I know no one has found any luminium ore or khroma ore so far.

Its like a tutelary with 5 VIT instead of 14 DEF (most PLDs I know would like that more), 1 less HP on the NQ, and some -MP (oh noes). PLD's probably would love it.

I've been told Luminium ore comes from Halvung, haven't gotten it yet myself though.

Alot of the new synths need Karakul Threads or Cloths, but the only places I can find to buy these are from the guild at 17k/each... and the guild only has 3 every in game day. As soon as it turns 6:00 theres a crowd around to buy out the 3 they have right away. Its almost impossible. On top of that today I sat at the AH and saw someone craft about 12 karakul cloths right in front of me, each using 3 threads, I find it unlikely that they were lucky enough to get the 3 from the guild every time.

Is there another way to get these threads Im missing?

Maintenance reset the inventory of all the guild merchants.

Step 1: Kill a Karakul variety of mob. Very easy to kill, lots of mobs, and commonly drop "Karakul skin"
Step 2: Have someone with leathercraft lvl 50ish to be safe (not sure what level it is exactly but at 100 i get hq animation at t3 rates) combine 2 skins + wind crystal to make "karakul wool"
Step 3: Have someone with ?? level clothcrafting (mine is 60, IIRC i was getting hq animation at around t2 rate) combine 2 karakul wool + lightning crystal to make "karakul thread"
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit!

I knew that there were mobs that dropped the skin but its pretty time consuming, was thinking maybe I over looked another NPC somewhere. Getting 4 skins is kinda hard if your not a specific job, those retarded Chigoes are really annoying @.@

I agree that they're not the easiest things to solo for some jobs, but they drop very commonly. I'd say around 50% or greater drop rate.

Worse come to worse, bring a friend and duo them. Pretty much any job combination with either a) good survivability or b) a bit of healing should have no problems. The chigoes aren't *that* troublesome.

Khroma ore sold on AH in Hades. Person who sold it said he mined in Halvung... but reliable source says he actually got it in Mount Zhayolm.
