i have a friend who's crashing with a ati radeon 800x

i am crashing with a radeon x300 moblility

is anyone (not using windower) crashing with an nvidia card? i know one of my LS members has an ati card and is online... i'll try to see what model / driver version he has.

are you using the new ati drivers that just came out a few days ago? i am, dunno if thats the cause or not

I did a full file check on PoL and FFXI, no problems found.

I'm using Omega 3.8.281 drivers from about 2 weeks ago, but Raineh just threw that idea out the window :/

I wonder though, how come NA windower stops you geting past [Play]
But JP windower still works? i can get to the char selection screen.

I'm only talking to a few select who are only complaining about the windower. I should have been clear. The whole drivers thing blows, I'm sure.

The JPwindower Mdn posted is weird. My cursor has to be below some buttons I want to press, and I can't get it to take up the whole screen. I guess there's something to fix the screen size I didn't see yet, but the cursor inaccuracy annoys me XD.

See windower is runing even though POL/FFXI may not be, how do i stop it? maybe that could cause it? runing in the back ground

Game's crashing for me as well. Computer just fucking reboots itself when I try to get past the character select screen. And yeah, I've used model changer in the passed, and also running on an ATI card. SE just completely fucking fails.
