Upload of Windower 3.01

Download and copy the Hook.dll file and it'll work fine.

Just replace the existing Hook.dll with the older version and you'll be golden.



It's a mirror of the origional 3.01 release

lol, Sure. Download that file [I found it on a link at Archbell's forums] and open the folder.

Now open the folder that you had your Windower installed in.

Copy the Hook.dll file from the link you just downloaded [version3.2] and paste it into the folder of the windower you currently use [3.2.1 probably, Wherever you installed it to]

Overwrite the file, And boot up POL. All your configurations will be the same, And you won't lose anything except for /maybe/ some of the newer features [like the distance tool or w/e. I use 0 plugins so I'm as close to legit as I can get and still have my Alt+Tab]

If you need more detailed instructions than that, A basic computer class is necessary.

my friend just sent me a patch just now and i overwrite some files from the old windower. It's working now, all right.

if POL is 1.7, and you copied over hook.dll, And it didn't work, Then you're hosed.

What I said worked for my whole LS [that was my first post here, I wanted to make sure I knew it would work before posting]

Maybe try the whole 3.2.0 windower package, see if that works ok for you. Can you log in without a windower at all? I was OK for logging in with no windower before I repaired mine, just to make sure it worked.

My POL is 1.17.01, and I've tried just about everything, it just crashes. Even with regular POL. This is frustrating as fuck.

Well what I posted is a Fix for Windower, if your POL is hosed without windower at all, You just drew the short straw and got the Corrupted Install of FFXI! Congrats!

Uninstall POL and reinstall, see if you're lucky enough not to have to do the same to FFXI. [someone said how to a few pages ago, Review]


Sucks for you. Try doing the update without a Windower active, That's seemed to work for more people.

Well, to anyone still thinking it was a hardware problem, I just totally uninstalled FFXI and reisntalled and now everything seems to function normally.

But then a friends was aying he jumped on and his game was fucked, for example he somehow got 1261 TP drained from him....

hmmm, not sure if launcher.exe 3.2 and hook.dll 3.2.1 is compatible though, I did not test it that way
