For Limbus or Dynamis someone has to give me some very good reasons to sub anything other than BLM. Being able to sleep a bunch of mobs at once even with a relatively weak Sleepga until something better can be applied is too good of an ability to lose.

Although it would just be better if Square were to give Red Mage innate access to Sleepga and Sleepga II. Giving Sleepga spells to BLMs and not RDMs is like giving making Flarega but only giving it to RDMs. (Woo! C+ skill!)

Diaga's quite useful against the promyvion mobs that put up like 20 shadows. It's also useful in dynamis when you want to hasten a wipe-and-reraise; otherwise, freshly slept mobs stand on your corpses for up to 90 seconds.

Speaking from experience? Also don't forget RDM/NIN is a good add puller for JoL, diaga being the quickest spell to get the attention of all 3 before they wreck the tank PT.

Stonega does the same thing to mobs with shadows, and you can still put mobs to sleep afterward.

But now you can give them a nice Cursed Sphere to the face.
