But would you invite anything other then a MNK as a DD in a bone party. Its a completely different ballgame.
After I learned that banish works for all penalties (including letting thf or rng or drg on bones), I really would be ok with any job. Banish2 doesnt cost me that much MP But that'd mean im doing a SC pt and not a burn pt.

DRG is good on bones regardless actually, Bourdonaisse and Wyvern are blunt. WSes are still weak but the DoT is surprisingly good.

I had a pimped DRG outdamage an average mnk at lv 70 in KRT. No one ever believed me, but 21%+9%wyvern ended up better han 29% dmg by the mnk No way it would have happened after 70, but I was still impressed by DRG dmg that day.

Bourdonaisse is for gimps, use a god damn kinkobo. Have crappy WS from that lance isn't negated by your DoT.

Atleast Kinkobo you'll have decent DoT and worthwhile WS damage, then again. Your still not a MNK when your a DRG.

2/3 of your your dmg are usually from your normal attack and last 1/3 of your dmg from WS. This ratio is even smaller for drg since their wyvern count for a big chunk of their dmg. I'm not sure kinkobo would end up giving a better DoT on a long run, not that I ever parsed it.

I still don't get why they nerfed DW... Why not just nerf /nin, that was the whole point anyway...

They could have just increased TP for Two-hand weapons while not nerfing MNK, NIN, and THF TP gain.

Their we go, instead of making 1h weapons get less tp per swing they should have made 2h weapons get even more tp per swing 15 per hit 16 with raj/brutal, if not 16/17 but that would be over powered for sam, don't know about the rest.

17 tp is possible for samurai, but I haven't really checked out what kind of sacrifices I would have to make. Last I knew, it required a pretty heavy +store tp setup, and you lost a lot of useful combat stats as a result.

I know I got a fraction more tp per swing with this adjustment, but I don't know how well I can take advantage of that.

The sams i knew got 17 tp a hit before rajas/brutal and TP nerf/buff so now it should be a good 18-20 max, 5 hit tp round is pretty sexy if i do say so myself 8)

Ohh and i ment over powered because if sam gets 16-17 base tp a hit without any +store tp or job traits they can easily get 20+ a hit.

DW IS NOT NERFED! WEAPONS THAT EXPLOITED THE NORMAL RATE AT WHICH TP IS GAINED WERE ADJUSTED TO BE PARALLEL WITH ALL OTHER TYPES OF TP GAIN. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING. THE END.

    Clear?

According to sam forums store tp is percent based.

1 store tp = +1% tp increase as far as I know. People are just rounding it up to 0.1tp because almost every weapon used to give close to 10tp

Yup, I tested with Rajas and NIN, back before the TP adjustment, and it was definately 5% more TP, not .5 more per hit. (which is kinda the same....so I dont know where I'm going with this.) Oh well, just reiterating that it Store TP definately is % based.

Edit: It's +1% TP gain, not .1% just to be exact. (I assume you meant that)

You mean by this that +10 Store TP would be a 10% increase in TP gain, making a hit that gives 10 TP give 11 instead?
