And no, I'm not gonna waste my time PMing you about everylittle thing I think should be taken care off. That's your job and I'm not gonna do your work for you. If you can't handle the responsibility as Moderator than maybe you should stop being one. And when someone expresses their dislike with how things are done maybe you should listen and explain why things work the way they do, instead of attacking the person expressing his/her opinion.

I made a thread drawing everyone's attention to the problem and people have responded. Has anything been done about it? Yes. I was banned instead, even after large number of people frequenting these forums have backed me up.

Yes, it did start out as your LS forums, but it has grown into bigger thing than it probably was intended and with that the load of work on Mods I can imagine has doubled, but if you can't handle the repsonsibility, than maybe you should revert back to the format it was, i.e. LS forum. I'm not telling you how or what to do, just mearly stating my opinion of how I percieve these boards as "regular".

And Xavier, you seem to have mature way of dealing with problems that arise. Ban the person and be done with it. gg buddy

Personally, I would like to see Septimus as a moderator of these boards. It has a great potential of erradicating needless posts which give no input other than retarded comments which have no relavance to the topic at hand.

You cannot read every post as soon as it is written. The only way to implement a perfectly moderated system would be to require all posts to be read and authorized before they can be viewed. That is slightly too fascist for even me, but only because it would require a lot more work.

Until people are paid to moderate the forums and we have shifts of mods scanning every post for content, readers are going to have to help. (And I do not imagine a massive influx of funding.) The effort it takes to express your opinion of what is wrong could just as easily be spent PMing a mod about it.

And seriously, do you think that my solution to every problem is going to be anything other than "ban, ban, bannity, ban-ban"? The only difference is that my bannings would be of an epic nature, think of it like the bubonic plague but only on an internet message board. I could think of a dozen people who would be perma-banned the very instant I had admin powers. (We all know who they are.)

and it was Bert who told me Ondori doesn't want those types of links. Bert and Ondori are both Admins and they didn't do anything to them either.

this is NOT my job, i don't get paid IRL or in the game. moderating these forums is akin to picking up other people's trash and dropping it in a garbage bin. i'm not bound by law or morals to do it.

in addition to not being able to read, you're also incapable of thinking correctly. the moderation is a problem because there isn't enough people doing it. it's more work that one person can do because of the amount of traffic.

and actually, this was intended to be big, that's why the videos are there, that's why Big Kills was created. it wasn't my intention though, it was the intention of people who no longer play FFXI.

Its why Angelkitty was banned. Its why you were banned. You just don't seem to get it. You can't go into another mans house and tell him how to decorate it without being invited.

And, when it comes down to it, if you don't like the forums, don't post on them. Posting on private forums isn't a right, its a privilege, and it can be taken away.

No, not mod. Vote for Septimus to be an Administrator. It seems that there is a large distinction between the two, Moderators cannot ban people; and if I cannot ban people then there is just no point to giving me power.
