COR is basically an alternate version of BRD which has a cool name and theme in order to attract people to the job. But even so, most people don't enjoy support jobs so the amount of people actually playing the job will be low.

All the new jobs seem really cool, but I still think jobs like WAR and MNK are the current "bandwagon" in terms of "my exp/hr is so hax I can get to 75 faster than anyone else"

I'm leveling Corsair simply because I'm a little tired of only playing melee and I loved leveling and playing Bard.

To answer the OP though, I think Blue Mage is the next bandwagon job for sure. What's more appealing than learning and using a bunch of mob WS' you've grown to hate over the past few years?

surely if there are enough goodies in each automaton to make having one worthwhile, it will go the track of the smn, where the smn is useless, and the pet is amazing... or maybe a reverse drg, where the PUP supports the Maton to do its THANG YO

As for me, i think BLU, for the cute AF, the fact that the AF will be ungodly cute on tarus, the color blue, and the fact that im gonna get some Farsi phrases into my macros ALALALLALALALALAlALA! :D

well the way i see it, for each roll you can have 4 states: 0 (pre-roll), 1-10 (option to roll), 11 (perfect), and 12+ (bust). the "option to roll" states for each roll and each number are different. what i need to make is a table like this:

corsair roll 1R 2R 3R 4S 5S 6R 7R 8S 9S 10S
where R = roll , if there's a >50% chance of improvement (for multiple rolls), and S = stand if <50% chance of improvement

shouldn't be too hard. just have to crack open excel and do a couple minutes of data entry and formulas. but it's 5am and i've been up all night leveling BLM so i'll have to do it tomorrow (unless someone wants to beat me to it)

BLU are getting a lot of perks. ;o They can wear nashira/homam, plus they seem be getting a huge mix of combat and other gear. On top of the job itself and the uniqueness of it, I think it will be pretty popular. PUP on the other hand doesn't seem to be able to wear hardly anything. ;x Was a bit shocked. Mostly magey stuff like seers/errants, so the h2h angle with that is all a bit funky. COR looks quite rangery, with the various guns they can use and the noct/war aketon sets.

Will probably lvl COR myself, I like the look of the af alot (blu too), which wins me over most of the time. But I like the idea of the job and the randomness/gambling side of it. :>

BLU is gonna be the next bandwaggon for sure... its gonna be the next RDM in terms of people talking it up...

PUP is the only one i'm interested in trying...

I'm not quite sure which one I want to level. I was originally planning to lvl my BLM and WAR to 75, but all three new jobs are looking to be pretty enjoyable. Like Russta said, I actually enjoyed leveling BRD, so I have my eye on Corsair at the moment, but from what I have been hearing the other two should be fun as well.

BLU will be the bandwagon job unless PUP has some amazing stuff we don't know about yet.

COR is a support job, as good as support jobs are they never get the bandwagon treatment.

i didn't hate leveling BRD but i don't want to level another job like it, so COR is out for me.

PUP not enough info yet and BLU looks good but if too many people are doing it at the start, i'll probably pass for now.
