Jesus christ, Relic is an achievement no matter what. You dont NEED it for ANYTHING (well maybe all relic weapons at once kills AV...) Its something to get if you want the best of the best.

A HNMls only exists to cater to its members, without its members it doesn't exist. Therefore, instead of focusing on 'powering up the ls' doesn't it make more sense to help the individuals achieve their goals?

And don't give me 'BUT THEY'LL LEAVE' crap. If a HNMls is truly helping a person and improving the game for him/her, that person will stay.

Wow, as much as I'm against how useless alot of Relic weapons are, there's so much truth to the above statement, it's scary. (Unfortunately it came from Maxx, and noone will respond to it.) Relic weapons are done for the achievement and effort the LS put into the item, not necessarily how good the item is. Granted Horn and Shield add the bonus of actually being useful, but regardless every Relic weapon is an achievement in and of itself.

I dunno if it's different on bahamut where everyone is angry, but on asura we were just happy to finally have 1 relic exist on the server, I organized an open run for people who were close to get attestations, and then I organized for the people who were close to lvl5 to get fragments. All for free, not "pay me 30x L.jadeshells and it's yours!"

There were so many people from so many LSs to watch Brennon finally get her Spharai. We have a metric asston of people about to hit or now on Stage 4 as well (Zamuswww, who wafik mentioned is doing GK, Kkin is stage 4 bow, Arjuna, Wafik, and Enki are both under 2k currency from Stage 4 and a decent amount into the final stage already).

Are you going after the Animated GK again soon wafik? Since your much feared nerf appears to not have happened?

Someone on Fenrir has the gun completed as well, not sure if he has ever tested it out with Cleen but I imagine they would, could make some very nice chains doing that too I'd guess.

It is nice to see a thread which shows the potential relics have since most people seriously downplay them in every way.

Lokus and I, 2 SAMs, were in the PT with Cleen when he just got Mandau.

It would just be a waste to put Deevo and Cleen in the same PT. Deevo is the Taru RNG who has the Relic Gun.

Lokus or I would do a WS and then one of us would be pulling the next mob since Cleen would easily take of 60-80% just with Mercy Stroke.

it makes sense if you can justify one single person having contributed 500M worth of effort more than the next person.

the LS will help with the attestation and the LS will help with the fragment, but if the LS is going to use LS currency, it will have to be for LS benefit.

Relic weapons are done for the achievement and effort the LS put into the item, not necessarily how good the item is.

not necessarily but when there are no greater determining factors on who to get it for, usability than becomes of primary importance.

and if the person uses their own gil to get their own currency, what's your opinion on that?

that is my opinion on that.

that's a no-brainer. it doesn't take that much work. helping with that is not LS sponsorship. the LS can even loan you the last 3k currency if possible.

LS sponsorship has to do with LS contributing Currency. BG does LS only Dynamis, the hourglasses are paid from the LS fund, the currency from every Dynamis (except for stuff that's stolen) is collected and stockpiled for an LS relic.

BG hasn't done it but another LS might go a step further and use parts of the LS fund to buy outside currency.

when this pool of currency gets close to being enough to get a relic, the members vote for what to get and who to get it. getting something that is most helpful to the LS is very important.

if someone is capable of getting all the currency on their own, the LS will have no problem helping with the minor details.

- Decides that the girl being a 'working girl' is just fine and hands over $250 to go to her room.
