BLU flag quest

I cant get the mobs t o do the right WS on me. Standing around with regen and refresh ffods on try to them build up as much TP as possible and as many WS's as possible. I did get Foot Kick the 1st time it was used on me.

No one said flag quests would be challenging. They are made so lowbies can do them ;x

Best way I found to get more weapons skills done on you is to use h2h on easy prey mobs. Hardly deals any damage, but gives the mob 15%+ tp. Still takes time, but it seems fastest that way to get a spell off a stingy type of mob.

Learning Metallic Body is a freaking pain in the ass... the crabs have done it like 8 times now but I don't learn it after the kill >.<

Anyone know if theres a level limit to when you can learn a specific spell? Like Im assuming you cant learn bomb toss off of level 5 Gobs, when its a lvl 20ish spell. Also, has anyone actually LEARNED a buff ability from an enemy? Im hearing shitty rates when it comes to stuff like Pollen and Metallic Body, but 1/1 when it comes to offensive moves.

I've been hearing a lot of people mention using the same answers and not getting the same results. For me, I tried to approach the questions from a blue mage perspective (or least what I felt it was). Managed to get it on my 2nd attempt.

Got Coccon myself last night (believe I got this at level 3-4 though it's a level 8 spell). Their definatly seems to be a cap on when you can learn a spell though & right now I'm leaning toward it being a 5-level difference either way.

edit: Also working on getting blue magic skill up to see if that influences the learn rates (Foot kick was getting me skillups galore). Also, I did touch up on the 2-hour ability (Azure Lore). From the 2 kicks I delieved with it up, damage was bout 17-18 (bout double normal).

can't merit blu magic unless your blu is 75

so no, noone's tried yet

As for learning, so far I haven't had any luck learning cocoon, or pollen when I was under lvl 4. Need to figure out exact lvls you can learn stuff, and if a stat/skill influences it!

btw, my foot kicks suck ;; at most they've done 7 damage to a Pug Pugil, but usually only 0,1,2 or resisted damage.

Another question....can I set my BLU skills outside of my Mog House? I dont wanna head back, but this scuks with no BLU spells available.

I know no one said that they would be challenging. Where did I say that? I was just going off the expamples from the RoZ new jobs. Again, I cite the example of the NIN SAM or DRG flag quests, which are challenging. However, as I have also already said, I guess I shouldn't be complaing that SE was nice enough to make them easy for lowbies.
