Someone on my server also claims to have gotten an Archer's ring. From the one with a bunch of T worms in it.

My group got a copper ring...

Figure it's just a low shot at a good item, usually going to be poor but you can get lucky and such.

Not just you all ??? rings i get become copper rings.

Was easy as hell. He opened chest after to find a ??? box
The win only gave us 200 assault points (wtf?, I heard 2k?)

The ??? ended being some gay fish...since when does box = fish?

Did excavation twice. First with 5 (NIN NIN WAR MNK RDM). Got 1200 AP. 2nd with 6 (NIN NIN WAR MNK RDM RDM). Got 666 AP.

No idea why fewer AP second time. I can make dumb guesses, but yeah.

Oh and... did both as 75cap.

Saw 10min warning while finishing off the last couple worms

then did Mamool one, got lucky, since it took us 25mins to get one door broke, and turned out to be right one. Both NINs right up against door, defender on, no shadows, none of the mob staff WS seem to hit the door, except for Firespit. Took 4 or 5 firespits before it broke.

did it in same amount of time, but only got 333 points for some reason.

Lebros Assault #1: Excavation
Mission: "Clear the blocked passages for the miners."
Recomended party: 6 people, any tank(won as nin pld rng rdm whm blm)

Walkthrough: After entering, hug the right wall and Ignore the bomb until you reach a Targetable wall, a "Brittle rock". have everyone draw weapons on this and start pounding away. have brd use march/min, rdm use blizzard1/2 and the same with blm.

After you break down the first wall, you will come to a large open area with lava beneath you, and 2 Qiqrins walking around. Pull ONE qiqrin.
If you are lucky, as soon as you kill the qiqrin one of your party members will get a qiqrin mine, with the message "<name> has obtained a Qiqrin mine!". if the first qiqrin doesnt drop it, kill the second one.

After obtaining mine #1, head up the ramp with the 3 bombs(Invis past them.), and destroy Wall#2 in the passage to the right(the qiqrin dont aggro, but do link). While the 1 person is destroying the wall, have the other members kill off qiqrin one by one until you get Mine #2.

Once you have mine #2, invis past down the bombs and head to your left(east?). There you will find Wall #3, and use Mine #2 on it. After the wall is down, kill the 2 Qiqrin that walk around in the room seperately. After getting Mine #3, head to wall #4 a little bit down the passage.

After getting through wall #4, have someone immediatly go back to the starting point of the assault (F-10), because that is where the "Runic portal" thing and the treasure box will be. Now kill the qiqrin until you've got the last mine, and blow the last wall a little bit down the passage. you'll recieve a message about a "Runic portal" opening up and the mission will be cleared when that is touched.


Tips:
-To use a mine, have the person holding the mine engage the wall, standing within melee distance, and use the mine like a potion. The person with the mine will recieve the message "10... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." and the mine will say "The qiqrin mine readies Mine Blast.". During this countdown time, DO NOT disengage.

-Ignore all the bombs. there is no point in killing them.
Once you've gotten a Qiqrin mine from an area, just ignore the other qiqrin and move on.

-If you do not aggro bombs, or link any unnecessairy qiqrin, you'll complete this with about 8-10 minutes left.

-Reward for winning with 6 people is 999 points for Non leader, and 1098 points for leader.

-Blms nuke for full damage on qiqrin. Qiqrin have about 6k HP. Brittle rocks have no known weaknesses besides Qiqrin mines.

-When you hit the runic portal to exit, you will lose any and all items in your treasure pool. make sure you lot these before exiting.


Speculation:
-Your party can have only 1 Qiqrin mine at a time.

-The runic portal to finish the mission after you destroy the last wall appears at a fixed location, as opposed to randomly spawning in one of the many dead ends. If the latter part is true, make sure someone (preferably with /thf) is standing at a central location when you hit the 5 minute mark. (The game tells you where the portal has spawned.)

Assault: Leujaoam Cleansing

Party setup: RNG/NIN x2, BRD/WHM. Level 50 cap.

13 worms need to be killed in 30 minutes. Huge link range, nothing special for the rest. Barrage does like 25% of the worms HP or more. Their evasion is pathetic, eat meat and get double Minuet. As for actually winning: we got too close to an AoE, 2 RNG died. BRD is raising us at the moment, so I have all the time to post this. We think we can win next round without wiping, although the southeast corner has 6 worms close to eachother. Just be careful here.

when we did the Excavation run we pulled a bomb close to 1st rock it exploded and didnt do any dmg to the rock. so we thought it wasnt close enough to the rocks we pulled the other bomb on that side of the rock and like many mobs if you hug its ass and kinda fight inside of it and it moved over closer to the rocks, it exploded and distroyed the rocks. we ran further in and started killing rats for mines. droped we ended up runing up the walk way over the lava and distroyed the rocks there turned out to be a dead end so we ran back and headed the other way it let you go. a noob pick up blm we had got agro from a bomb and killed 2 of us. we kept killing rats to get more mines and got another one and used it on the next rock and worked. we ended up wondering around killing rats and didnt get a mine drop untill the last one, we broke down the last rock and ran for the exit and time was up and we got warped out. we tryed again 2 times and tryed runing and fighting inside the bomb making it move closer to the rocks like before, bad thing was right when it was charging to explode, someone ran in it and made it move away both runs and turned out we ran out of time for the other 2 runs ; ;

next day we tryed the mamook assault and was told that the blue mamool's were the best to pull next to the door. we pulled them over to the door and they used a frontal aoe and broke the door down, we found the item we needed and headed to the exit. we got a ??? ring 999 points with 6 ppl and some pots. the other pt we had that whent with us did it at the same time as us with 5, they got the same thing we got. we whent back to make the ??? ring into w/e it would turn into. our pt we got a bronze ring ; ; and the other pt that we had there got a eather ring from there ??? ring :\ we whent back to try and get another ID but found that we still had about 7hrs untill we could get another... we were able to get 1 ID but not the other 2 from the same day we didnt know what was going on but it was late and we all just left and their pt sold/split there ring.

BRD RNG RNG doesn't work for the worms one. Even if you don't die, it's simply not enough damage.

Okay, wow @ bomb blowing up the rocks. Did if have to use Self-Destruct or did it just touch it? Okay, can you explain exactly what you did with the bomb?

Back to wall, and running forward into it, I'm guessing?

Just tried it it doesn't give you +15, it's +5 usually and +10 in assault.
