ummm...ya we jus faught this thing on Asura was easy til like 18% then used an atk called Gates of Hades and fucked us up did it several times and wiped us. i took 1k dmg as a pld w/o BQ ring on...

That's the gist of it, fairly normal fight, has Triple Attack, does AoE Paraylze, AoE Fire Damage, Stoneskin, Blaze Spikes, and a Blinkable Breath move.

Also has a Spike Flail type move if you attack from behind.

Once he hit under 20% he did a move called Gates of Hades, about 1000 AoE Damage and 20/HP a tic DoT. Did it 3 times over the course of a minute and killed everyone in sight, even people not fighting.

GoH rocked us too, wiped at 10% due to some nicely placed stuns from our NIN/DRK tank but that was it.

Btw if GoH doesnt flat out rape you to begin with, the 20/tic burn afterwards might.

I had stuff filtered but his Defense and Magic Defense are apparently insanely high.

I don't think he auto-meds TP, we pulled melees off at like 90% and let SAMs skillchain it and THFs TA and SA only, with BLMs doing Flood when not stunning.

His stoneskin is an absolute bitch, and he resists shit alot, all debuffs were hard as hell to land.

We didnt have enough fast damage to drop it from 10% to dead, then again we decided to do it when it was well too late :/ who knows.

I'm not sure if we did Darkness wasn't payin too much attention except for the times i was dead but blms were elemental seal flooding it and was doing at most 500dmg.

@ Aurik we're going to try Darkness, some people are changing jobs and we're gonna give it another go. Flood was doing around 400 damage on non MBs so Water might work well
