FYI, theres a definite limit on the max # of items you can have in delivery. If your at the cap, its impossible to send yourself items (or even return them to yourself).

I've never checked to see what happens if an item gets returned from the AH/sold on the AH when your delivery box is full though

This is what I find confusing. Before this expansion, I was always strapped for space, so I have always used many, many, many pages in my d-box. It always took forever to get money from the AH. (Anybody remember that patch 2? or so years ago where you had to make sure your d-box was empty? That was a living hell 8) ) At the time when I had the most items backed up, I took a SS'd of all the returns I did, and it ended up being around 18.5 total returns. But somebody in my linkshell got the message they couldn't deliver to themselves because their box was full, but they only had 3-4 tops. I didn't ask it at the time, but maybe if all 8 slots are from items that got sent back from the AH? So they can't be returned?

I've had a friend lose items before for keeping them floating in Dbox limbo for too long. I'm entirely sure how it worked, but they lost stuff like a Fudo and Mermaid Ring because they had been sitting in the "ether" for too long.

So I tried the Hostel the other day... when I went in I was given a whole crapton of temp items, which worried me because I only had about 2 slots open in my invintory to begin with. So I open my invintory and there are the temp items... and more temp items... and MORE temp items. At least 60 of the fucking things. And then scrolling past those... there's the rest of my invintory. Intact. NOT LAGGING.

The code is in place for my invintory to hold OVER 100 ITEMS comfortably without ANY LAG WHATSOEVER. I know I supported SE in the past about the invintory issue, but seeing that the code is in fact ALREADY THERE for holding up and over 100 items at once, I just can't sit here comfortably and wonder WHY they keep spewing the same garbage excuse over and over. Can anyone explain this away?

Oh and yeah, I play on PS2, the machine that supposedly isn't supposed to be able to handle an invintory of this size (which it clearly can, and without issue).

They wanted to leave enough room so they could give you 60 temporary items and still work comfortably?

Now imagine EVERYONE had inventories that big! What kind of congestion we could receive? Maybe that's why there's a player limit in assault/ballista/cockbar hotel ?

I'm not 100% sure but like 90% sure that the max you can have is 80. 10 full pages(8 items per page) of items in your deliverybox.

They plan to expand it to 80 if I'm not mistaken, but not any time soon or maybe it's just my wishfull thinking.

They said they plan to expand it in the future yes. I'm expecting it'll go to the "magic" 80 number eventually.
