Biggest problem of PUP quest...I can't decide on a name...they're all so...meh...

I think that's all of them, I've been looking at them for the last 20 minutes and still can't decide...NPC names were so much better than this -_-;

Mana converter gradually takes HP and converts it to MP. I assume that it works faster than the mana tank which gives 1mp/tick refresh per dark manuver (you can stack up to 3 at one time).

Right now I'm working on getting the second frame/head set (you have a choice of the three available besides harlequin). However, the real problem is the Imperial currency. I need 3 Imperial silver peices. People are currently charging absurd amounts just for the bronze/mythril. My pup is at 10 and 10 it will stay until I get the new frame/head.

I got rewarded for doing a simple quest (taru groceries), 3x Bronze peices. Im guessing alot of rewards here might be the same?

I'm gonna get imperial standings and change them into silver coins. 100 standings = 1 silver coin so 300 standings needed for per frame/head set.

Bah, I wish I had seen the extra name list before I left the city to go level. I went with Bobeche so I can call him Bob for short. I leveled it up to 5 pretty easily, but as people said, you can easily pull hate from your puppet with a melee sub.

I really liked using the earth maneuver with the shock absorber. That stoneskin works really well...that is till it overheated and stopped attacking a beetle which promptly lost interest in my toy and kicked my ass.

Eh? I was looking at PUP gear on the AH and almost all of it seems bent towards mage subjobs. If I recall correctly (this could be wrong), they can't even equip Amemet Mantle.

Yeah, they can't wear assault jerkin, haub, scorpion harness, any of the 3 melee cursed, none of the god set or even amemet. They don't really have MP, but neither do BRD and that doesnt stop them from subbing mage jobs. I'm pretty inclined to believe PUP was intended to sit back and do some limited assisting with a /whm sub or something of the sort, while the puppet stays in the front line beating stuff up (though there are some more caster oriented parts too, so that can work as well). But as far as parties are concerned, from what it looks like, PUP will be meleeing with H2h as often as WHMs do with clubs

BST don't really have MP either. I'm still kinda hoping that this job has some decent solo ability.

Edit, I found an aweasome glitch. If you /heal, then /heal again right when you sit down, the puppet wit spaz out then go into resting position and stay there.

Ive heard it costs 3 Myth. Coins when you do the second upgrade, can anyone confirm (only 16PUP atm).

I sure hope that's not the case. Getting all the attachments was expensive enough.

I needed:

1 Wou cloth and that cost like 5M if you dont get 6 Cocoons and synth it into a cloth. (clothcraft ???)
3 M pice
1 gold thread
1 Velvet cloth

I'll probably pick RNG second. I did the Valoredge first. I hear all the Stormwaker does is spend the first minute enfeebling before it finally gets around to nuking. And when it does nuke, it tends to be resisted.

the cloth is 88 clothcraft afaik - goes 6 cocoons > 3 threads > 1 cloth

So far i got the mage and the ranger one .

Mage one is pretty much just debuffing: slow, para, dia, bio, poison, blind etc. + it got Cure I and II.

Havent had a chance to test out ranger probably yet since my range skill is only like 5 (got it just before the maintenance ;()
