i think its better than having to try and SA a kited mob which can be a pain. unbuffed on kaiser behe was doing 600+ every 30 secs around 800 with ba and with convergence around 900-1k

just a fun alternative and you dont have to go all out with super gear to get it done.

its does crap to omega. since omega dmg mostly consists of melee dmg i stick with sa cannonball when hes on 2 legs.

i think normal blm nukes dont do top dmg to him either when on 4 leg mode (not sure, filtered out usually)

Breath attacks work well when he is on all fours though.

Doesn't Omega have some sort of innate dark resistance? Drains w/ 300+ skill, Pluto's, and Anrin Obi usually do crap.

that was with 2hr. without 2hr unbuffed would give around 600 dmg

with mori around 700
with BA and Mori 800-900
with BA Mori Convergence level3 around 1k
recast is like 30 seconds so it adds up nicely.

I had about +40 Chr between Gear and Spells
MAB Trait
Yigit Head
Modli earing
anrin obi
and pluto staff

im sure i can do more ill try and invest in some more chr gear

levelling from 53 to 56 i got 100% resist on Frightful Roar from Wajom Colibris... the spell didnt work even a single time on them. is it because they are wind based or are they just immune? the spell itself is from a different ecosystem so I dont think correlation matters, and landing other spells worked nicely as usual.

They are nearly immune to anything wind based, it's a very very high resist rate, but it can occasionally land. Puks on the other hand, are 100% immune I believe.

Well, I dare say part of it was your level (Definite low-low end at 53), but their Wind affinity wouldn't help matters, either. I know I had issues with it in the mid-50s with them so I just stopped trying and stuck to my DoT and Sickle Slash/Mandibular Bite spam with the juicy MP Drainkiss MBs. 58 is definitely a nice level when the AF body becomes available. Overall, I've noticed affinities tend to matter a bit more with ToAU mobs than on mainland stuff. So, don't fret, and at worst, insist someone keeps Dia II on 'em.

Does the higher dmg on Perdu make it better then Ifrit's Blade for spells or does the STR on Ifrit's Blade win?

The damage rating on the weapon means crap for spells. If anything, the hidden ACC bonus when under 100 TP makes it superior to Ifrit's for the multi-hitter spells. Overall, I'd say you'd be hardpressed to notice the loss of 3 STR on any mob of difficulty since our Blue Magic skill kinda limits us to certain points if it at all functions like ATK/STR to DEF/VIT on the mob.

Perdu shines for the increase Sword DoT and Vorpal DMG and is one of the best swords for meriting/exping

for HNMs you are better off with Ifrit's/Wing+1/Jag+1 to focus on your spells

Uhh, if you're not meleeing and just casting spells with SA, I'll agree with this, but if you're meleeing, no way. The increase in TP gain from increased acc/atk/dmg will do more for your CA spell than that measly 3 str, plus you know, it increases your melee DoT.

If your focusing ON TPing yet, but if you are doing you job and supporting whilehand you won't. But if all you want to do is care about your 1 spells every 2 min go for it dude!
