you mean, boiling blood? :D
you mean, boiling blood? :D
Wivre spells would be nice, but no normal puks use White Wind, and frankly, that's probably for the best. ._.
All they would need to do is add a new type of puk somewhere that uses it, or just give it to puks in certain areas. If you haven't already noticed, the puks inside mamook use a move called Ill Wind that the others don't do, so it's not like it would be a stretch of the imagination to add.Originally Posted by LD
And honestly who cares if a puk could heal itself anyway, they have almost no hp to heal. Blu self-sc, penta, sidewinder, etc. one-shot them already.
Hmm, that is a good point. There aren't so many Puks in Mamook and they don't HAVE to give WW to the Puks in Wajoam and Bhaflau.
US BLueZ need TO l3rn Ofuscate 4 AoE FlA$h
Don't we already have AoE Flash from Sea?
Anyways, I'd love it if we coudl elarn demoralizing roar. I heard someone mention Boiling Blood? What is that?
Boiling Blood is like Haste+Atk Boost but also lowers your Def it seems. So like Berserk+Haste.
Boiling blood is something retarded like 50% haste 50% berserk when you try to v. trunk the effects I think, but obviously they would nerf it for players. Either way, you know SE is going to give blu demoralzing roar, and not both, unless they want to start crazy buffing up all jobs.
Oh its used by the mobs that use demoralizing roar?
Now i dont know which one i Want more lol.
Well, the TOA beastmen give two moves each, so do rabbits and opo-opo. Roar is in the Dats, along with many other moves from mobs who are already represented by a spell. It's possible.
Yeah, but I don't see SE giving blu a functional castable berserk + haste in the same spell, unless it has a really low % boost and/or retarded mp cost per duration like warm up. If it was like 15% berserk 15% haste for 5 minutes for a moderate mp cost it would be awesome, but knowing SE they would make it 10%/10% for 2-3 minutes with retarded mp cost, with 5 set points to equip.
Either way, demoralizing roar follows the trend of blu aoe debuffs, and has a blue magic animation in the dats, boiling blood doesn't, I don't think they ever thought about giving it to blu.
Next expansion better have aqua breath, mighty guard, and some kind of hasteaga.
Quick question probably really newb but for overall damage should one eat a taco since cannonballs def mod, or sole sushi to help vertical cleave and cannonball acc?
usually youll be using one or the other, not bothOriginally Posted by LinktheDeme
tacos for cb, sushi or str meat for vc (both are pretty shit without SA)
Well I still normally casta other spells disservement then i put HP gear on do heat breath > frost breath > varying on mp and situation might do frost wave or enervation. and speaking of enervation this seems to have gotten a ninja buff or was it just always piss easy to land on proto-ultima? Seems everywhere i use it never resist or anything.Originally Posted by Delekii
I'm not sure what you are talking about, since I can't really think of a situation in which I would use _all_ the spells you are listing, and they all have quite different spell/gear setups.Originally Posted by LinktheDeme
I can't imagine Disseverment is a good choice to use on Proto-Ultima or Omega, forcefeeding them 50tp at a time is no good.. cold wave (I assume that is what you mean) would be better cast before Disseverment than afterward since it is -40ish agi, would help with accuracy in any situation you are using it in..
As I said, in most situations I use BLU for, it tends to be very particular in its use - despite the fact that BLU is probably one of the most versatile jobs per say, it is not that versatile in any given situation. If you are /thf using cannonball or cleave, you need to concentrate on str/vit setups and appropriate food to the exclusion of other uses to do well.. so on so on.
Anyone know if brutal earring works with blue spells?
It'll vary with the strategy/setup that you use to do Proto-Ultima or Proto-Omega with, but at least with Proto-Ultima, I use Disseverment more for the poison than the actual damage. It lasts a really long time, and 50TP (though it's not usually that much because it's rare every hit will land) isn't that big of a deal when there's melee on it and it's using abilities every 20-30 seconds at the start or between Citadel Busters at the end.Originally Posted by Delekii

I Bring gear to cast cannonball, hp + gear to cast breath spells, and gear to use disservement. Like the otherperson said disservement is used for the Poison effect. Normally what I do is the following
cocoon > Cold Wave > Disservement >hit gearchange macro > SATACA Cannonball > Enervation > hit gear change macro >convergence > heat breath > Burst affinity > frost breath. After that varying on mp i'll either rest or do one more breath spell then rest. Now looking over it sushi only helps if not /thf for sa acc so taco most likely best choice, either that or something that adds a lot of hp. Anyway has enervation always had an insane rate of landing? Because everything I seem to use it on never gets any resist at all. I haven't done sky gods, sea nms, or salvage. I'm mainly basing it off limbus, dynamis (even DL but i think he has low resist rate to everything?), and einherjar(up to tier 2 bosses).
I've never had problems landing enervation, but the duration was usually crap, often wearing off within a few seconds, has this been fixed?
No still wears off fastOriginally Posted by fantasticdan
