    What about Uppercut?

Easiest way to test this would be Disseverment I think, test the duration of the poison between a fully merited BLU and a non merited with equal BLU skill.
Hmm, that would be excellent to test. I don't know any unmerited blu's anymore or i'd test it myself.

I noticed that Head Butt screwed up SATA positioning while leveling in traditional parties, but like you said, it's not because the mob itself moved. The rest of the party THINKS the mob moved, so everyone makes slight position adjustments that they didn't need to make, and then the mob does move to compensate. If a SATA follows closely behind all this, it misses and is attributed to Head Butt causing the mob to move.

Using Head Butt on Faf/Nid still not a very good idea.....could cause ppl to take breath full force due to the slight momentary reposition....very very bad.

Yeah BLMs generally can't touch my Eyes on Me on Dragon and Behe floors of HNM Limbus Path and my Eyes on Me on Fortitude is not much lower than Normal BLMs. The BLMs in my LSs don't tend to care but they aren't the pitchfork carrying variety of BG

FALSE. FALSE and some more FALSE. The knockback is only a visual, the monster does not move (unlike players hit by Quadavs doing it.)

Yeah....it's false....this is why I've seen half an alliance die to breath because of it.

    Re: Blue Mage: Job Findings

Your alliance didnt die because of the knockback, your alliance died because people werent in position to begin with. Ive Head Butt Nyzul Fafnir, Limbus Nidhogg, Tiamat multiple times and never once has positioning been screwed up because of head butt. It does not change a monsters posistion, its merely an animation - Uppercut, i dont know if it changes a mobs position.

I've yet to see Uppercut interrupt a spell with its "knockback" animation. I believe its just like Head Butt, visual spring effect only larger.

    On the new spells..

Well, I hope all spells are useful like last set of new spells. Originally when they put the new spells in(Mind blast etc) I was unimpressed but later found great use out of every spell put in.

Only thing that worries me about the new spells is how we're gunna get Asuran Claws. I can only hope they have EP-EM standing Gnoles in Davoi.

Asuran Claws will prolly be like the 3 TS monster moves in ToAU, Lobisons onry and you can prolly just get a nice BLU alliance to get it anyways.

...Though there is prolly room to put Gnoles in the northlands, makes sense in theory.

    Re: Blue Mage: Job Findings

I really really hope not. It's not just the level or the difficulty of a fucking Lobison during a Full moon, it's the fact that every BLU is going to go after them. :/ Even with Soulflayers and Wamoura you had a few options, there were multiple camps for them, but the Lobison camp is currently the only group of standing Gnoles. If I had to, I could round up my friends just like I did for the really tough TAU spells, but even with the fast respawn, I expect heavy competition for the move if it's just Lobisons who can give it. Anyway, they added Gents to Saruta, hammer isn't as tough anymore (though the pop conditions seem to be weird), so they could make other spells easier too.

Just do Jugner Campaign. Gnolls show up often, and Anders does Asuran.

Yea, but then there's the problem of it working with Beseiged rules, you have to be in the PT, etc. etc.

    Re: Blue Mage: Job Findings

After the Enmity tests made by Kaeko and Ashira, in a BLU tank situation, I currently have +18% haste in equipment (No speed/Velocious Belt :/) what'd be a more beneficial body piece, Nashira Manteel (+3% for obvious reasons of recast on long recast spells. That'd put me in 21% haste in equipment) or a Morrigan's Robe to help aleviate(sp lol) with the MP consume of such high cost spells or constat spam?
I'm aware alot of "Shit is situational" or "Macro them" answers will come out, but I hate blinking in equipment change every second
So; Nashira Manteel or Morrigan's Robe?
