Help about 25 or so BLUs get Asuran Claws-- Provoke is really the best JA to use, but you can use Charm as well.
Help me since my xbox took years to update ; ;Originally Posted by Sho
Something special about these ladybugs in ronfaure? They were using the move fine during the day (which of course I didn't learn) then towards the night all they used was the lunge move, every single one, nothing else.

So far, my favorite is Spiral Spin.
I just did my personal testing like the first time BLU came out. It might have been posted earlier, but I'm not sure if somoene posted all of them. I also made the changes on BGWiki.
Asuran Claws: Counter
Enervation: Counter (only 2)
Regurgitation: Resist Gravity
Feather Barrier: Resist Gravity (only 2)
Corrosive Ooze: Clear Mind (set 2, part of a larger group)
Seedspray: Beast Killer (set 2, part of a larger group)
Spiral Spin: Plantoid Killer (set 2, part of a larger group)
Damn that update took forever. :/
my intial thought from these spells are that they seem very underwhelming.

That spell is a bit weaker, but gives acc down for a while too. I suppose I could use it in limbus just to help out our DD 'tanks' a tad.
I agree though, they're all a bit meh. I'm not exactly thrilled to go try the slug or... serpent thing one either. Magical blue magic just isn't worth it. (Unless some brave soul with time to waste wants to see if they don't royally suck.)
What's the range/cast time/mp cost on regurgitation? Honestly that sounds like the best spell in the update if it's a functional ranged bind, unless the defense down on those other spells is higher than 12.5%, or asuran claws has some hidden modifier.
Regurgitation has a huge range, like normal spells, was @ 21" for me. Didn't test it on anything over EP, but if it can be improved damagewise, and the Bind is as constant as it was on weaker mobs, it's a powerful spell, especially with such a low recast. Would test more, but SCH time~
Im confident that because the reports of Asuran Claws being only 2set points that the hidden effect has to do with moon phase which is why SE was so generous to give a 6hit WS when most jobs barely get one multihit WS.Originally Posted by fantasticdan
Any idea if seedspray is good for the level you get it and if it stacks w/SA or no?
I know the bind on blastbomb is pretty reliable and has a short recast/mp cost. If this spell ends up anything like it I will ecstatic! Even more if the bind will work on fire based mobs >.> I needs to find some fire elementals to test it. (yaya I know Bind is Ice based but let me have hope!Originally Posted by shukuffxi

Regurgitation cost 69mp which is pretty hefty for bind.
Pretty sure both Ooze and Regurgitation are int based also. Just switching from mnd nuking and int nuking to see which does more in a five min test.
Regurgitation so far for me is the best spell, one point, does around 500-600 damage + bind and +1 int/mnd +3 mp![]()
Wow that is nice, what was your INT build?Originally Posted by stamos
Tested the all the new spells out in sky last night. Asuran Claws was meh for the mp price, did about 350 dmg consistently on everything from Flamingos to Despot. It didn’t seem to have blunt nor piercing dmg bonus.
The spell that I was the most impressed with was Regurgitation, usually ~300-400 Dmg range + nice range and a very good bind, it had Despot, Ulli, SC, MG + all the placeholders bound for a good 15-20 seconds. (I was on ps2 so I had to eyeball times.)
Ah I see, it also seems they are replaced by beetles near nighttime or near that time in ronfaure[s].Originally Posted by Kellen
