Maybe try fighting some basilisks in a group to see if they turn on someone else after using it? I guess I could see it being a Hydro Shot+1 since they're both water attacks, and Reg bringing the Bind to the table.

Meanwhile, have any other trait combos been discovered with the new spells? I'm wondering if AC can't pair with other stuff to make Counter, but it might be some 3-4 spell combo that might not be as point heavy and therefore harder to crack outside of mundane trial and error.

Has anyone tested the enmity properties of Regurgitation?

I just duo'd JoFortitude, I've done it several times, and I was finding it very hard to pull hate off of my rdm partner tonight. Normally when doing this, enmity levels stay fairly even, so it's very easy to trade hate back and forth. Tonight though, she would pull hate off of me with something like casting refresh...showing that our enmity is pretty even. Then I'd cast regurgitation for ~400 dmg, and not pull hate at all. I used to just use mind blast as my only nuke, and even ~350 dmg from that would usually pull hate, so I'm not understanding this. The whole fight I was having trouble getting hate back off of her.

Possibly regurgitation has very little enmity gain? Or resets enmity somehow? The ONLY thing I did differently this time fighting it was adding regurgitation into my spell list, so that's what it feels like to me.

Why would you not use Eyes on Me? I always get better dmg from that spell on Fort...

It's not really worthwhile for me to invest in a chr set for a job that I use to cast cannonball, and very little else.

I used to mess with it because alot of my BRD chr gear crossed over with BLU.

Cost isn't the reason I don't feel like putting money into a CHR set, it's more of an inventory issue than a cost issue.
Well, technically that is a cost issue, it'd be costing me space and time(muling).
I'd glady pay for a CHR set if it didn't take any extra inventory.

I already have more gear for BLU than I feel should be needed for a job and my BLU still has a very long way to go.

I know what you mean, the job is so inventory intensive. If I was doing everything that the job could do all at once I would need:
Melee TP gain set
Headbutt set
Strength set
Cannonball set
HP set
Magic accuracy set
Mind set for healing
Mind set w/ magic attack gear
Intelligence set
Charisma set

I'm sure I'm forgetting something too, luckily I had the gear to carry over from my BRD BLM & RDM, so it made it easier for me. Eyes on me has such limited use as well, not a critical thing when space is tight for sure.

Plus 8 elemental staves

I just try to stick to:
-DD Mode
-hMP Mode
-Cannonball/Vertical Cleave STR Mode - /THF stuff
-HP Set - Heat/Frost Breath

The full fledged healer position comes up so infrequently once your 75, though pre-75 you might get invited as a healer and judging by BLU invite rates when i helped level it on another account... you want any invite you can get.

That and the fact 3 other jobs demanding space makes it a bitch to keep anything more than those 4 modes.

These are some old #s but:

Eyes on Me 58+67 CHR, 5MAB, MAB1 Trait, HQ Staff:

Convergence + Memento Mori + Burst Affinity: 779

Memento Mori + Burst Affinity: 709

No Buffs: 473

All these numbers were consistent

Those #s are with AF body too for the +skill

I wasn't attacking your use of Regurgitation on Fort tho, it was Mind Blast that I was. I have got crappy numbers with Light (Fire, Thunder, Wind) based spells, so I try to stick with Dark (Ice, Earth, Water) based spells, haven't got to test Regurgitation for myself yet (and really don't wanna buy INT rings >.>)

Also the main reason I have an Eyes on Me build is for NW Appollyon, with Obi it owns everything but Aspid and the Undead Floor.
