afaik the listed values are not the blue magic equip numbers(I'm assuming that's what you posted), but the points needed to make combinations that provide auto refresh, which explain the various combos which have been discovered.

They all have invisible values and if you combine those abilites and get a total of 8 points you will get Auto-Refresh.
I finally got Frentic Rip yesterday. Took me roughly 10 hours and 3 Frenetic Rips. Atm I'm with 2 other BLU's trying to get Diamondhide and Enervation. We have killed about 40 Trolls and they use both skills usually once a fight since Battosi is here with a Kraken Club. Me and the other BLU got Diamondhide so far and the 3rd got Enervation. These trolls are VT and it makes me think that the higher a mob conc the harder it is to get spells.
ah ok, well I think the harder the mob, the harder it is to learn a move from it. It took me around 25k worth of exp to learn feather tickle from lesser colibris, but much much less for frost breath. This game is random sometimes.Originally Posted by Moochi

It has a longish cast time, 30 second duration, and 2 minute recast.
I would estimate that MAB to be a decent boost (~20), but the fact that it is insanely cumbersome to get up before a skillchain goes off along with other JA and what have you (and let's not forget BLU magic resist rates,heh) makes it pretty worthless.
On a side note though, it looks awesome as hell. How are the other 65+ buff/debuffs? Does Reactor Cool have a good duration? Spike Damage?
Another thing I've noticed is that when I have WHM subbed solo as opposed to THF, my Magic Fruit cures a ton more HP. I realize MND probably helps to some extent, but 100 more points of curing? It seems like healing magic skill affects the potency of Magic Fruit even though it raises blue magic when you cast it. Could it be the same for elemental magic spells? My BLM isn't 37 yet so can't really test that..

Okay so I got hysterical barrage today, and from what I can see, to make the Lamia remove their weapon, you must weaponskill as they are swinging their sword. Not sure if this is 100% correct but going by this method, it sped things up fast.
Now even if you WS when they are striking you, they may not drop their weapon, BUT give it time and after a few rounds they eventually will, so basically it isnt 100% on the round that the WS was used.
I need you people to test this further and prove me right or wrong, thx and good luck.
Can they resummon their weapon like imps?
Btw, for imps.. I found SA+multi hit ws (used evisceration) made them drop weapon 100% of the time from my war friend. If we figured that out right away, learning Frenetic Rip wouldn't have taken more than 20 mins.. :/
