And in my own case Oct~Dec Tizona and Haste Samba too! It's like all of my Blue Mage dreams finally came true!

Back to reality, maybe it might only be DWI, since DA was added as well. But hell if that doesn't help close the gap between spell castings.

I'd say at this point, if you want EXP do what I did-- solo/duo/trio (solo mostly) on imps 75~79. Change up the camps for 78 and 79, near Khim spawn point. If you're solo, do it all LFG (people will be inclined to grab you at Khim island over others).

79 and on, I was too lazy to look for solo spots, so I did some campaign before I got picked up in the EXP PT I'm currently in.

Given DW is now almost 100% confirmed, does this change anything concerning BLU subjobs, or will standard events still be asking for /NIN?

/DNC might have a place later via Haste Samba for a more group-oriented playstyle (though it's only 5%), but right now I have to agree with what Nevex was saying a while back. /RDM is a very strong sub when you don't need Utsusemi.

I can't confirm this but I'm going to "Strongly" assume it's tier 1, I can't see them adding a higher tier right away. We still have 19 levels to go, I'm going to bet we'll see another spell allowing us to take it up to Tier 2, and maybe even the ability to set fencer, so we'll have to decide between the two.

I did 75 to 77 in mire with another blu and a RDM, decent xp... Then I just made low lvl parties in wajoam or garliage lol, im 78 atm almost 79.

Just dinged lvl 80 and I can confirm Double Attack with Demoralizing Roar and Acid Stream. Will check Dual Wield when I get back to town as I was /nin for xp.

Edit: Confirmed Animating Wail + Blazing Bound = Dual Wield. Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now to test which tier it is.

Cimicine Discharge is used for both Magic Burst Bonus and Dual Wield? I don't see myself setting Dual Wield JT on BLU.

Plenilune at 100% full moon boosted atk from 345 to 396, MAB boost was kind of crappy, earth shot went from 218 to 220 after plenilune. Maybe the MAB is higher on new moon and atk is higher on full moon?

427 -> 481 Attack from P. Embrace @ 100% Full Moon in a lvl 76 sync PT. That's a 12.6% Increase (probably truncated and floored to 12%)

Edit: Lasareth's boost is a 14.78% increase.

was testing move in dynamis with filamented hold. It gives more slow then filamentated hold because it can overwrite it. Filamented hold cant overwrited cimicine discharge. I am thinking its slow 2

Actually, I probably just messed up when I went to confirm this earlier. Was in a rush to swap to BLM and run off to do something and I already had Animating Wail set in my spell list.

DW should be Animating Wail and Blazing Bound. I'll go back and edit my earlier post. Sorry for the screw up everyone.

Edit: they all seem to be 320 VE as well. Nothing amazing, but not bad either.

Gonna play around with Cimicine Discharge and Plenilune Embrace too, but don't have access to Demoralizing Roar yet.

Edit 2: Cimicine Discharge is 1 CE, ~320 VE, and Plenilune Embrace seems to follow regular cure enmity.

How does going from DWI to DWII (and I suppose eventually DWIII, although I have trouble seeing anything beating that at 90+) compare to (looking at this purely from a DD perspective):

DWI+Suppa+Berserk

DWI+Jump+High Jump+Wyvern Earring (instead of Suppa, or would replacing Brutal be better?)

There are a couple added benefits to these subs (such as saving points on certain traits), but those seem like they might be harder to quantify than attack speed/power differences- so ignore those for now. I suppose BLU/THF w/ dual wield would be interesting as well.


EDIT: Actually, I suppose I should specify some gear. Let's say 18% Haste in gear and 15% in magical haste, then with a second assumption of March.

Acrid Stream is -10 MDB for 2 minutes. Will have more testing on damage for this and Blazing Bound later today probably, but from what little I saw, it might have some potential, especially combined with the MDB down.
