Yeah the Abyssea mobs are nice for it. I got the first spell 1/1 then killed ton of mobs for the second and couldn't learn -.- then got kicked out.

Probably not. The lack of secondary mods is painful. Blazing Bound might have a niche use if you can stack enough MDB, Accrid Stream would be useful to debuff with MDB-10. Can't see much point to Leafstorm, it's not even used in any traits yet right?

We got pretty much the best we could hope for in terms of traits, an upgrade to Refueling, and a self-target 4 mp/tic Refresh. If this update fucked up your wet dream for BLU.....I don't know what to say.

In comparison, Red Mage got the ability to be a better Refresh-whore and a good portion of their tanking abilities taken away.

Pretty much this, they are likely starting with better support spells and the next spells will likely be for DD-oriented stuff, which I don't mind because our damage spells are still good already. Our BLU Spell D went up how many times this update? Just 1? Couldn't remember if it was tested if more.

Acrid Stream does decent damage, but it doesn't seem worth it just for that. The MDB -10 is nice however, since it has a decent duration, and means ~11% (usually, unless target has more or less MDB already) more damage on all nukes, so it could be worth it anytime you have a lot of magic damage. Other than that, they really don't seem worth it, sadly.

True on the DD part of it. The biggest boost came to our self buffing/support. Stronger Refresh and regular haste..... amazing.

Not really the biggest fan of just added traits and stats I want real useful spells that aren't gimped to f when we use them or take an entire mp pool for meh damage. Yeah they f up my wet dream of what Blu can be that's for sure. Oh well back to leveling SAM to 80 then maybe BLU or WAR or DRK or DNC lol.

Funny when I level BLU as soon as it was introduced and loved its potential but so much farming of useless crap has kind of soured on me some what yeah they fed my wet dream.

With the introduction of the newest Magian trials and Empyream sword, is there any good weapon I'd be aiming to for BLU?
I read about the OAT sword for offhand uses, but that was before the last update, so i was wondering if with the introduction of Empyrean and such, things had changed
