Also entirely possible that it's just weaker for players, like alot of other moves are.
Example of "non-BLU mobs having 0 BLU magic skill" doesn't work since for the mobs themselves Diamondhide isn't a spell, it's an ability.

I agree that's totally feasible. Need to test either way to satisfy my curiosity though. ;/
Then poison breath and bad breath are 12% HP, Radiant Breath is 28% or something like that. Maybe 10% and 25% + some damage based on CHR or something. Either way they're not good for damage. In fact BLU magic based spells look like they're the worst, behind even WHM, for damage.Originally Posted by liefe
I just went out on rdm/blu to try out poison breath.
1126/1126 was 140 damage.
1126/1221 was 140 damage.

Poison breath, at least, deals damage based on current hp, NOT based on max hp. I would assume that other breath attacks follow this pattern as well but my blu isn't high enough to try any of them.
the real question is..how does one make a Qutrub use Spinal Cleave?

All I have to say is, Bibiki Bay = Nothx
But seriously, I've yet to see one spinal cleave from any Qutrub oO
A question though if I may. Would it be reasonable to presume that, in an HNM/God environment that a BLU would be most logical filling a damage dealing spot (based mainly on overall DPS and their self-skillchain ability at 40+)?
They do it all the time in BeseigedOriginally Posted by Lazureus
YOu can't learn it there, and i never seen it in besieged either @.@
Since when has that mattered on (most) HNMs?Originally Posted by Kimiko
The more important factor is whether BLU can actually damage an HNM. Their overall DPS (which you only really see in an xp PT) is meaningless. Look at your MNKs and WARs. While they're boosting 12x, or sleeping TP to 300, what is a BLU doing?
Question for any of the 63+ BLU out there, where did you learn Frentic Rip? The only imps I've ever seen are the ones outside Nashmau and well, those are IT+++++ at 63. Getting a friend to help me learn is fine, but getting a party of friends is much harder XD
any 75melee/nin can solo the imps outside nashmau, unlike most EP mobs, these have a significantly lower amount of HP than anything else that cons EP at 75, i'd say they have about 2000-2500 HP maxOriginally Posted by Airshort7
I did in nashmau boat, they are decent challenge at level 62.... but they dont pop always and if pop is only 1,anyway second trip, claimed it and 1/1 :wink:Originally Posted by Airshort7
Did you have to SA multi WS from behind to make it drop its horn or? Any tips are helpful ^^Originally Posted by Cyberfoxx
I solo'd a tough con Imp at 63 in the graveyard area (west entrance) and got it 1/1. The day before though I spent hours with friends and it didnt do it ever. I got lucky.Originally Posted by Reality
Ill be sure to try that tonight, thanks Razz. But still did it just drop its horn on its own or what?
Come on, no one has any input or any information at all about getting Spinal Cleave or Body Slam?
It's bad enough I can't even find help most of the time- not even getting any helpful informaton on how to get them at all is not making the situation any better><
