Once again, I am pissed for them being super detailed with other jobs, but vague with BLU.

I am just wondering about that new JA.
Will it possibly just be CA without the ability to Skillchain (ie give a boost to dmg)?
Or knowing SE it will ONLY work with CA.
I think it'll probably just be a boost to fTP with no TP consumption (unless you choose to stack it with CA) or boost to WSC- basically a mini-Azure Lore.
Yeah it's cyclonic turmoil. dmg+knockback. if the cast time is short, it's forseeable blu could keep something stunlocked almost indefinitely (barring resists of course).
Sounds more like Enchainment on demand to me, but time will tell. Cyclonic Turmoil could make for an interesting spell.
I know right, just like they made battery charge a spell that gives 20 mp upon use, so useless.
I doubt they'll water it down too much, since it's lvl 81~85 we are talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if they left at least x2 Dispel effect to go along with the Knockback/Wind Dmg.
Irregardless, I'm more interested in gaining 1 exp and hitting lvl 81 so I can has 5 more slots for spells. And whatever low-end HNM spell they might grace us with, since we touch on HNM level territory now @ L85.
Soooo

Anybody else think that 50% conversion rate might be LITTLE bit too high ?
Too high as in "believable"? Most likely.
Too high as in "overpowered"? Not really. It's roughly 10% of your total Tizona melee damage converted into MP since when it procs the conversion ratio seems to be anywhere between 10 and 30% of the damage dealt. Sounds reasonable.
Either way, jumping from 10-12% proc rate to 50% seems too good to be true.
well the quick little test i did after I completed my 80 showed it to be 10>20% conversion rate. If anybody else has got any other math to support a 50% conversion rate ......... I'd like to see it ....
Kuroganashi made that edit, that alone makes it questionable...
EDIT: Yeah, thought I remembered you posting about the conversion rate. Gonna revert that now.
Also saw that... And then i started to continue on my first trial (400/1500 left)... Then gave up 100 WS later. 50% is unbelievable. 25% is where is should have started, 50% is where it should be after trials up to 80.
Grats on lvl80 version though, what'd that take? 100-120hrs?
Yeah outside of the first trial I averaged about 50/hour give or take.
Has anyone gotten/tested the "blue magic physical attack" evoliths?
I did briefly ran a quite small set of simple tests tossed the data out a long time ago
I still have my concordia with +2 blu att, and all i remember from my small test sample was, it was garbage.
Hm I know a lot are bothered by the Battery Charge but I'm not too worried about it. BLU set spells staying are really nice too, although I normally had to change around a lot of spells so I liked starting fresh.- The maximum amount of MP restorable with the blue magic spell "Battery Charge" will be increased. This will be accomplished by reducing the rate of MP restoration slightly, but increasing the total duration of the spell effect.
- Your assigned set of blue magic will remain stored even after changing jobs.
It's still a nerf to Battery Charge, I'm not particularly sure why they felt the need to nerf it when in the end it's main purpose was to allow BLU to sustain damage output even without support from a RDM or BRD for the mp/tic. It'll probably go down to 3mp/tic for a duration of 5 minutes to match the Haste timers. Instead of a net gain of 300mp over 5 minutes with the current BC, we'll end up getting 250mp over 5 minutes if they go that route. Not as ridiculous as some people are making it seem if that's the case but I didn't feel the spell needed changing in the first place tbh.
And I do like the spells being stored if you job change, hoping they eventually give us 2-3 slots to save specific spell setups in the future. But even if they don't this is still nice, if I do need to change spells for a different situation I generally don't need to change the entire spell set, usually only a few spells(keep stuff like the Big 3, Auto Refresh, Refresh/Haste etc on)
